Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

Did not work for me as listed. Ikky was dead at the beginning of turn 4 with Retch on over 50% health. The randoms taken in couldn't hit hard enough to end it. If using it I'd recommend careful selection of the 2nd and 3rd pets and not random. I took Foulfeather and repeated the Ikky attacks (which worked without needing pet three) with the Direbeak in as back up with Ironskin and Falcosaur swarm, just in case.

I see another case below where Ikky didn't finish it. I guess there is some RNG in Retch's attacks that may cut Flock short.

It's always good to have strong backup, just in case! :)

Papabur wrote on 2020-03-27 11:07:04

my Ikky solo'd

JBF wrote on 2020-05-11 06:05:30

Conversely I was glad I brought in decent backup. My ikky was down in 4 rounds with Retch still on 50%

Elemjay wrote on 2018-01-20 06:16:01

I used Brilliant Kaleri, lvl 19 with Shriek (but I think almost any level would work here as long as the damage reduction is 25%), Ikky and Chicken. and your Ikky will survive to do at least two Flocks.
Start with levelling pet, use Shriek. Switch to Ikky, Black Claw and then Flock until Ikky dies. Send in Chicken with Flock to clean up.

Using totally boring flying pets:

Mei Li Sparkler: Confusing Sting + Swarm
Any Chicken x 2: Squawk + Flock

Justin wrote on 2017-09-13 00:51:13

Not a big gain, but you can do the level pet first, Ikki will die after 1st flock, then finish with any heavy hitter (I used Chi-Chi).

Adrian wrote on 2017-09-12 12:03:22

Sharptalon Hatchling can solo this (1,2,1). Start with Rip, then Swarm. GG WP!

Winterfall wrote on 2017-09-12 15:39:42

RNG dependent I suppose, mine died.

Yewfire wrote on 2017-09-12 05:40:37

Teroclaw hatchling with bite works for finishing pet.

FlibbitSC wrote on 2017-09-04 14:32:03

Any flying pet with any ability that does damage works =)

Daedrynn wrote on 2017-09-06 01:42:16

Teroclaw does not have the ability Bite. Do you mean Claw?

Vij wrote on 2017-08-31 09:46:03

Found Nether Ray Fry to be a good secondary pet because of the speed and Bite attack. Used a Dragonbone Hatchling in last slot, but did not have to use it .
