First pet:
Any breed of Glutted Bleeder works, but P/P is best. Second pet: Any pet that can finish off Alex if needed, then reliably and quickly kill Dah'da. The following pets can be used with the abilities listed. They use different abilities, which sadly means I can't add them as alternatives in the pet info box at the top, but I've written the TD script in a way that works with them all. I've tested each one myself, using different breeds of Glutted Bleeder. Kills Dah'da on turn 2: Crypt Fiend (1/1/2) Feline Familiar (2/2/2) Cursed Birman (1/1/2) Microbot XD (1/2/2) Kills Dah'da on turn 3: Kor'thik Swarmling (2/1/1) Barnaby (1/1/2) Pandaren Monk (1/1/1) Restored Revenant (1/2/2) Chrominius (1/1/2) Microbot 8D (1/2/2) Shadowlands Update: Tested existing pet combinations, tested and added new alternatives for pet #2. |

Another really long strategy, but hey! Pet diversity is important for the Celestial Tournament. I used B/B Floater.
Second slot can be hypothetically anything bur I recc. something with humanoid abilities. |

The tdscript could use improvement, but it seems to get the job done for me. Please post up alternatives if you have any ideas, thanks.

I just had a look at it. If you use a Rabbit vatiant with a speed less than 300, the Rabbit will be killed before what would be its last round of Stampede, since Alex's speed is 300. This will leave just one round of Shattered Defenses instead of two for the Idol to Crush against.
I think that even if the Idol has the advantage of two rounds of Shattered Defenses against Alex, it can fail if it hits low with Crush every time, but that's pretty unlikely. But if Alex is left with only one round of Shattered Defenses, it is that bit more likely.
When I see a strat with a Rabbit moveset and a Breed that says "Any", my eyelid starts twitching - because there is a LOT of variation among rabbit variant breeds.
However, even in my test with a 292 speed H/P Tolai Hare, the Idol finished Alex and took a chunk out of Dah'da, making it easy for the Marionette to finish up.
So I have to wonder: were you just very very unlucky, or did you do something wrong, like not avoiding one of the Ice Tombs?
Anyway, I logged the battle so can compare against any future more detailed report. (edited)
