Yeah, I just hit Wind-up until starlette is dead, then choose leveling pet, then switch to pet 2. It will continue on after that.

I used P/S Starlette and H/S Flayer. Extremely reliable strategy and relatively fast fight.

I suggest for extra protection to add 1 extra step and use your Flayer's Kick ability for the second Greatest Foe Darkflame, then finish it with Blitz.

Starlette H/H didn't die on schedule (tough problem to have) and I had to manually swap to level pet, survive one round (deflection ftw), and then over to Flayer Youngling S/B, who died before finishing Murkeston; so Starlette came back in and just barely won (63 hp remaining). Don't recommend H/H Starlette for that reason: not compatible with the sequence in this strat without improvisation and luck.

Agreed - there is a lot of RNG involved, it's due to the variable damage of Coach's Lift-Off on your Starlette. I tried this with an H/P Starlette, and it only took 448 points from Lift-Off. This was low enough that it survived when it should have died. Tried it again, it took more, and the strategy worked correctly.

Perhaps its just me, but I found your "Turn 2" very confusing; there's no action there. So I actually combined Turn 2 and Turn 3 (Sir M swapped out, and Wind Up). It worked :)

Previously posted scripts work bad. Failed 2 times with this. It always uses deflection on first Sir Murkeston turn.

If you're like me and don't have a S/S flayer, you can use Legionnaire Murky (1,1,1) instead.

Simply ignore the Deflection (shieldstorm) while Greatest Foe is up, use Blitz instead. Then use Shieldstorm while fighting Murkeston.

@Saintgabrial, if you have Battle Pet BreedID addon, it will show you which stats can be developed by all available breeds of your used pet. For example, as Flayer Youngling comes in all breeds, you will see a list of 10 possible options. It isn't the same as trying them out in the battle, but it should be enough for checking out the speed advantage.
@TheGrandmaGamer – I didn't have any problem with S/S, he had 698 health at the end. Perhaps it's in the crits just as the most recent Anon said.

Not strictly a speed issue. S/S doesn't do it - need more health or power so P/S might do it.

This worked great although my H/P Starlette survived when it wasn't supposed to do according to this guide. When that happened, I switched in my level pet then switched back to the Starlette to let it absorb the darkflame which then killed it. Then I switched in my Flayer Youngling and skipped the first deflection (I used P/S).

With S/S Flayer it works great most of the time. If you only get 2 hits 3 times and Greatest Foe gets any crits you will lose.

This doesn't work at all for me. Where do we use interrupt? The Iron Starlette NEVER fully dies as an H/H breed where it says it does. Well, it dies the first time, but revives...

Amazing strat, I used a pure speed Flayer Youngling, thats really the only breed to have the others are useless because you need to hit first for Kick to work on any fight.

Worked perfectly fine with a P/P Starlette and S/S Flayer, but I altered the order of attacks - did Wind-Up, Powerball, Supercharge, Wind-Up x3. From there, as described.

I used breed 7 Star and breed 5 Flayer, interpersing Kicks into the recipe. It worked perfectly with Flayer on 700 HP at the end.

I tried a P/P breed for the Flayer Youngling and I simply wasn't fast enough to interrupt the heals or get the bonus hit on Blitz, so my FY kept dying.
