I found one of the new BfA pets glutted bleeder (P/S) works really well for this. This is what I used:
Frostfur Rat (S/S) x, 2, 1 Glutted Bleeder (P/S) 2, 1, 1, Red Cricket 2, 2, 1
Frostfur Rat (if rat doesn't survive when it's switched out need to restart) Refuge Stampede Switches to you Glutted Bleeder Powerball Powerball Burrow Pass, glutted bleeder dies Switch back to Frostfur Rat Refugue Stampede rat dies red cricket comes in Screech Screech Screech If gets a phase shift off you can use cocoon to help avoid the next attack or heal yourself with nature's touch.
One of the other crickets might work too if you don't have the red one but I haven't tested it with them.
Yep, finally worked after several tries. Like TimboAZ, I had to go to Frostfire Ridge and add an S/S Frostfur Rat to my stable (only had a B/B). I also had to level my Darkmoon Hatchling up from L23 to L25. I had thought to use it as a L23 and get it a few XP, but the strategy didn't work with that. This strategy is very finely honed and seems to only work exactly as spec'ed, but it WILL work if you have all the right elements and some patience. Thanks for the strategy, Lazey, and for the great website, XuFu!
I used Rat (S/S) 2.1.1, Elfin Rabbit (S/B) 2.2.2 and Dust Bunny (S/S) 2.2.2.
Rat used Comeback -> swapped.
Elfin Rabbit used pass, Dodge, Stampede (most likely dies here).
Brought Rat back out, used Comeback -> swapped again.
Dust Bunny used Dodge, Flurry, Stampede. I won at this point, but if for some reason it doesn't work the Dust Bunny can use Flurry and the Rat still has health and speed to complete the fight.
I had no luck the first two or three times I tried this strategy, so I changed it a bit. Since nothing happens on the initial round after the Dust Bunny gets swapped in, instead of using Dodge like your strategy says, I used Flurry first and then Dodge. It worked perfectly that time.
I couldn't get any of the other strats to work. I used Elfin Rabit, Spring Rabbit, and Noblegarden bunny all (2,2,1) and did 1.burrow 2.dodge 3.flurry til rabbit died, switch to next rabbit and repeat. Worked first try.
Thank you - this one worked; the published strat above did not. The SS frostfur rat does not have enough health to survive to the second refuge. If it has less than 530 health after the first claw, it dies when it's portaled out.
Worked second try for me. Slightly different bunnies (Alpine Hare/Mountain Cottontail/Noblegarden Bunny) but all S/S to ensure first go every round. I think it was related to how many hits I got for each flurry seeing as how each bunny only gets 3 x rounds with the flurry and they do 60-70 damage for each hit per round.
Woodchipper. D.Hatchling brought in, swap back to squirrel.
Crouch, Stampede. D.Hatchling brought in again.
Screech, flock. D.Hatchling dies. Bring in Squirrel, Stampede.
B.Kit comes in. Powerball, Tongue Lash, Survival, Tongue lash.
I followed your tip, went to Frostfire Ridge and tamed a S/S Frostfur Rat. I tried the 3 rabbits, all s/s with no luck. This method worked the 3rd pass thru. Exactly as written all pets as
described. The 2nd attempt would have probably worked but Shadeflicker critted for over 1400 on my DM hatchling , basically one shotting it. No matter, achieve DONE. Thanks so much for everyone's input on this Family Familiar Argus !
Let me just point out to other people telling themselves "screw leveling a dam lovebird hatchling"....just do it. Or get 3 S/S rabbits. These are the ONLY 2 strats that I have found that work without insane RNG.
