If you have problems with Dazzling Dance --> Try this one You can use the same strategy for Corrupted Thundertail, Cursed Spirit, Tainted Maulclaw, Dark Gazer and Chaos Pup. TD Script is the same! Tested 10/16/2020 |

This Strategy works for other Tanaan legendaries too (TD Script is the same!): 1. Defiled Earth 3. Dark Gazer 5. Netherfist 6. Vile Blood of Draenor 8. Corrupted Thundertail 10. Tainted Maulclaw 15. Chaos Pup |

The TD Script is more advanced than the written instructions and will also automate many of the decisions. The written instructions will still work well if you don't use TD Script. This strategy still generally wins even when Baa'l doesn't damage the second enemy pet. A Seaborne Spore with Glowing Toxin works a little better than a Crimson Spore with Creeping Fungus if you have it.

Same team I used for Dark Gazer. This one just gets to be a little shorter, since the Vile Blood doesn't have an interrupt ^^

NOTE: It's faster if you use Seaborne Spore with Glowing Toxin. But Seaborne Spore is expensive and you get this from legendary Tanaan fights. You take zero damage from Fel Corruption. So your third has 100% health at the start fighting backline pets. You also can use Void-Scarred Anubisath (2/1/1) or Anubisath Idol (1/1/1) -->(Void>Idol). TD Script works in that case too. In terms of efficiency I don't recommend Emerald Dream. Healing Flame>>Emerald Dream But in the end it works too. Tested 10/14/2020 |

After 8.1 several of the other strategies were no longer working. This is my solution. Any high health heal pets can be in slots 2 and 3.

DragonsAfterDark: Updated for SLs. Really, any Dragonkin with greater than 286 speed will probably be fine, I just like the TCS & Twilight Meteorite.

I don't have the pets that other people have used for this so I started building with Ikky and added pets that are strong vs. Flying. Ikky can't quite take out VBD but the Nether Faerie Dragon can finish him, and then it's a matter of taking out the other two pets. Ran once with my specific breeds of pets.

In my experience, when people leave a short "It didn't work" note, they usually made a mistake. Maybe they used a pet with the wrong Speed, maybe they didn't do a Pass where it was indicated, sometimes they were even using the team and strat from a completely different battle. :)
Sometimes there genuinely is a problem with the strat. This is where the Curators and others come in, checking the strat for weaknesses, and fixing it or removing it if it can't be fixed.
Since most failure reports with no details are wrong, it's not good to waste people's time investigating them. Instead, help them by providing the information they need.
If the strat failed for you, and you want your comment to be taken seriously:
1. Specify EXACTLY which species and breeds you used.
2. Specify whether you read the strategy from the site and executed it manually, or downloaded and used the tdScript.
3. Specify EXACTLY where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts. What died too early? What didn't die when it was supposed to? What attack missed?
4. If possible, provide a log. You can see your log in the Pet Battle tab of your chat box. You can pull that out, make it bigger, screenshot it. Better still, you can use the addon Battle Pet Log Keeper from Curseforge, and do /pblk and Save Battle when the battle you want to log is complete.
Almost any strat can fail to a really unlucky string of crits, and some difficult challenge strats like the Family ones may fail more than anyone likes, but the people behind this site do their best to promote well-working strats. Do your part. Provide useful information.

My intention was more to confirm that there was a problem, so people could skip this one and try a different strategy.
Now im fairly sure that I didnt do anything wrong when it failed, but as you said, I could have added some more info to collaborate on that.
Thank you for a very contstructive reply, I will denatly keep that in mind for future comments.
