Based on the existing Nexus Whelpling and Chrominius strategy, and credit to Lazey for their suggestion of changing the usage of Arcane Storm and using a pet with explode instead of Chrominius.

I ran with his idea and tweaked the script to allow for all breeds of Whelpling to work. In this version of the strategy the leveling pet takes less damage. To fully minimise the damage it takes, you can use a P/P Nexus Whelpling, but all breeds of Nexus Whelpling and the Stormborne Whelpling work.

ANY pet with explode will work (mechanical, flying, magic, etc.), but for optimal speed it should be faster than 260.

High XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!

As others have said a Rare P/P whelpling does this strategy perfectly. Been doing it for hours and every time no matter what it kills all 3 enemies and dies to curse. Leveling two pets at once with this.

you can simplify this by taking out the common denominator ability(Tail Sweep:122) to the bottom but was too lazy to refactor it and test.

Also I don't know if this is common knowledge but I found this out once I finished leveling my level 17+ pets but you can level up a level 1 pet even if it dies in the back. When the whelpling dies to curse it'll give exp to both of the back pets even if one of them died to AoE. So pair up a level 1 with a level ~8+ and it'll get exp.

With a 25 PP Nexus Whelpling it's currently solo'ing the fight and dying to Curse of Doom on its last turn. No need to bring a second pet in.

Awesome strat! PS Stormborne Whelpling sometimes solos the fight, and dies to the Curse of Doom in round 10 along with enemy Delicate Moth, giving TWO level pets XP.
If the Whelpling doesn't defeat Delicate Moth, he usually leaves him with only 85hp, and most #1 abilities of the level pet can finish it off and earn the full amount of XP since the additional level pet never gets swapped in.

The PP Nexus Whelpling is too powerful. You'll have to babysit the end of the fight to make sure it doesn't fail on overkill. Use the PS Stormborn Whelpling instead. Also add a pass statement to speed it all up by half a round:

The strat works but in order for the lvl pet to get any exp it has to be active for 1 round so I wouldn't bring a super low lvl pet. My lvl 8 got no exp as it was never switched in.

You can level 2 pets without ever bringing them in. They should be at least level 12+, especially if they're fliers. All you need is a Nexus Whelpling. (My whelping is a P/P breed.) There is some Rng, but 90% of the time I win.

I lose sometimes with each breed that I have of the Nexies (P/S, P/P, P/B), The P/S really needs an exploding backline pet for it to be reliable. If the Curse of Doom and Arcane Storm land when Helpful Spirit is still up, the backline pets are needed to clean up the moth.

Really an awesome strategy. It's quick, it's dependable, and I haven't lost or had to restart a single fight. Just watch out for that arcane explosion the first two mobs spam, so you'll want to make sure any flying pets have a good 760+ hp.

I'm not sure what happened here. I was using the script and not paying much attention, my P/P Nexus Whelpling solo'd the fight, Mechanicle Pandaren was never switched in and was still alive, carry pet was never switched in but got xp. Good strategy if the first pet doesn't solo not sure why carry pet still got xp. The fight was very fast, 9 rounds aprox 1:19 min. Thanks!

Your Nexus Whelpling will always die to curse of doom. If you're lucky, the Whelpling will solo the fight, then die. When that happens, your carry pet still gets XP, the same way that it would if you used explode on the 2nd pet. Every pet that was active during the fight was dead. You are guaranteed to get xp using this strategy!
