Can be sat to "Works in SL"... Tryed it today and still works fine ;) Sure, both Dragons (Protodrake and Netherwelp) died, but as it's no big deal and also mentioned in the Descripion i call it a "Passed" ^^

Still don't have Chrominius @25 so I played around with my pets until I found something that worked.

Azure Windseeker (1,1,2) as I don't have Emerald Proto-Whelp. Works great.

Nexus Whelping (1,2,2) Like another commenter mentioned, Tail Sweep is generally a little quicker as this dragon is slower than the enemy magic glob.

Nether Faerie Dragon (2,2,1) Moonfire > Arcane Blast won against the enemy elemental easily. I took Life Exchange anticipating needing a little help but it wasn't necessary at all.

I find that instead of Chrominius, Sprite Darter Hatchling with 2,2,1 worked well for me
Start with moonfire when you bring it in, then the sprout should die within 3 hits of arcane blast. Tested a few times

Infinite whelp tail sweep, pass. Chrominus come in with howl, then surge of pwr. Trixy dead.
If alive do a bite on globs.

Might I recommend using tail sweep instead of frost breath on the nexus whelpling? It's slower than all of the enemy pets if you're using P/P.

Use lift-off on round 1, ancient blessing round 2 then breath until Trixy is dead. If you use proto strike round 1 Trixy will switch you out every time, I don't understand why it's listed like it is above.

Good ending to the strategy even it does not follow sequence above.

Emerald whelp (p/s) kept dying by first attack from Globs every time. There was no chance to heal after Trixy dies. I quit the fight and startover until i thought what the hell let's keep going.

Nexus whelp (p/p) took out Globs and was dead when Sprout is active from Nightmare spell. Didn't have a chance to do any damage.

Chrominius finish the fight (More than 1400: Bite, Howl, Surge of Power).

A note on this strategy: even if your first and second pets die earlier than this says they should, keep going - just move on to the next instruction and you're still going to win easily, just maybe not exactly as written here. My Emerald Proto-Whelp kept dying before getting the Ancient Blessing off (3 times in a row) and that meant my Nexus Whelpling died earlier than it should have as well, but you've got more than enough slack at the end of the battle with Chrominius to make up for any shortcomings. Works perfectly.

Swapped out Emerald Proto for an S/S Bronze Whelp 2-1-1
Had bad luck every time that Globs came in. My Proto-whelp would never have enough health to survive Globs first attack. With the bronze whelp, I was able to get in a tail sweep before fainting, which means that I didn't miss a turn doing damage to Globs.

Nexus whelp could kill Globs in 2 turns instead of 3, which meant that the Nexus whelp had enough health to use mana storm the first turn that the Nightmare sprout comes in

Hey! I forgot to mention here that your Proto-Whelp does not need to survive that long. The strategy works fine even if your first two pets die early. Thanks for mentioning it though!

Strategy worked perfectly, I had some luck with crits though, didn't even need Chrominus, Nexus Whelpling wiped the floor with Nightmare Sproutling. Both my Emerald Whelpling and Nexus Whelpling are P/P breed so maybe that's why :)

A 1/1/1 set up Onyxian Whelpling (from the 5th anniversary), works in place of Emerald Proto-Whelp. Because mine kept dying due to only having 1400 hp.

Strat dependant on alot of RNG with this set of pets... if your first pet get crit or deals weak 1 ability dmg and dies before the second proto-strike... forfeit and try again. Took me 5 tries till get it with this sequence... and chrominius finished with 16 hp =) GL!
Emerald abilities: 3 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 3 - dead
Nexus abilities: 1 - 1 - 3 - dead
Chrominius abilities: 1 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 3 or 1 - end
