Author says their is RNG. If you fail, try again. As long as Demolish doesn't hit, will work.

The RNG comes in here with Ikky. You have to keep your fingers crossed that Demolish doesn't hit in round 3, which means you have a 50/50 chance for this to work.

I replaced Ikky with an S/S Chitterspine Skitterling, and this reduced the RNG because the Skitterling is faster no matter what. However, using this replacement means there is still the chance that Demolish will crit on the Chitterspine and kill it. However, with a 50% chance to hit, and then an only 5% chance to crit on top of that, the Skitterling edges out Ikky in reliability.

After the Skitterling I brought in something with Flamethrower to finish off Creakclank.

Even using the S/S Foulfeather can be a mixed bag, because it has the same speed as Creakclank (309). However, it's just a hair more reliable than Ikky, though not much.

Use Snowfeather Hatchling as 3rd pet and use Falcosaur Swarm! and Predatory Strike if Ikky dies after using Black claw.

ok. used a Foulfeather as 3rd with black claw and flock to avoid rng badluck. if he lands a demolish on ikky it will fail. just use the flock on the Foulfeather then
