Low XP
Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

What a great strategy. It might not be the best one for TD users, as it requires some management for proper use of burrow and dodge, but if you like to do your battles "manually" like myself, you're good to go.

Not Owner of strat but did test in Beta: Works just fine as it is.

used 3 dust bunnies, no issue using this

I've adjusted the speed requirements for the rabbits to > 292, as per feedback and testing. If you take issue with this change, Threewolves, you're more than welcome to change it back. :)

I only have one of the bunnies so I started with Specimen 97, and after that beat up the first two pretty well, continued with Alpine Hare, didn't get to my Mechagon Marmot because the first two killed them all.

60% of the time, it works every time. ;)

Hm. I use a rabbit for this, and it works very nicely, but I have a more complicated logic. Something like:

Flurry until the Howl, then Dodge, and Flurry until you bring the first pet to zero, then Burrow to avoid the Undead round. You get hit by the CoD from the second pet when you resurface, but that's OK because you Flurry until CoD has either one or two rounds remaining, then Dodge, which avoids the CoD. That first rabbit takes out the first pet and a large chunk of the second - though the second may Feign and come back later.

This strat worked very well...ty !

In this encounter, as in real life, rabbits always defeat dogs. Wait...

Great and fast strategy, you might want to add a speed requirement of >292 to outspeed every enemy pet.

I appreciate your comment about having speed >292. Once I chose my pets with their speed >292 the strategy worked perfectly.

Clocked this at 3min 4sec. (Recommend including skipping when it's an undead round to waste less time.)

Although I did one-shot the encounter using this setup, it was very close. (edited)

This worked great, thank you!

Mergas wrote on 2019-06-09 02:42:02

Worked great. I did only use the first two rabbits, but it was close for the dust bunny. A bit of irony - using three of one kind of pet, considering Burlys' final comment "Three of the same kind of pet, what was I thinking?"
