This will take a while, since you'll lose a hit every time he blinds you. By using Cauterize when blind, you do manage to save a bit of time. That said, Atherton only have one attack that does damage, and it's on a long cooldown, so Cauterize is easily able to keep up. By the time Atherton is dead, there won't be much left of the rest of his team.
It might be interesting to experiment with a S/S Bound Stream (1,1,2) in slot one using Healing wave and Tidal Wave. That has the advantage of 341 speed making it faster than Atherton, so you only lose one round to his blind.

魔化烈焰 is slower than Atherton, so you have to wait for Burrow if you do not want to miss 焚燒, but since Atherton can only damage you with Burrow, this is not an issue.

Broot is able to solo this fight most the time. Sometimes he'll die on the last pet, but at that point the enemy pet will be nearly dead anyway, and one of your other pets can come in and finish the fight.

The SS breed Bound Stream has the advantage of 341 speed (i.e faster than Atherton) so you only lose one round to his blind.

Not having the necessary pets for the other strategies I had to find my own team. Problem is that this fight depends on Atherton's first moves, either you are blinded or not. During several fights with this team it always turned out that I had to switch my moves - but this team won and won.
So if you are feeling that the moves are not the right ones for your particularly fight just go ahead according to your own and you will see that this is a winner team.

1. Bound Stream's breed with stat restriction instead of toggle for potential future alternatives.
