I used my B/B Shimmershell Snail, and it worked just fine, so I'm not sure the breed restriction is necessary. However, using Acidic Goo with my B/B breed left the fight *very* close, so it might need a Shell Shield instead.

If you go the safe route with your Snail and use Shell Shield, remember that it might cause more damage to your level pet, so it might need a higher HP threshold.

Otherwise, this worked just fine for me. :)
