Breeds that we know work:
Anklerender must be a P/P breed for this to work 100%. P/S and P/B also work just follow the notes below. (The notes down there are an estimate of 550 HP). (Saint) |

Good strategy but has some variations in it. If you don't use addons for pet battles or keep a close eye on the fight progress, I recommend not using this one.

Usually 10 rounds.
The strategy works with either a P/P Long-Eared Owl or a Fledgling Warden Owl, but the Long-Eared Owl's slightly higher health makes the strategy safer. The script will automatically switch to the variant I've posted in the comments if your level pet has enough health. Inspired by a strategy by Salty Goldfish that unfortunately stopped working due to Shadowlands changes. |

DragonsAfterDark: User is inactive, and strategy was broken by SLs changes. I have updated the strategy with a new second slot pet. If the OP comes back, they are more than welcome to revert any changes I've made to the strategy.
I have also removed the Staff Pick (because of my intervention on the strat), and reset the ratings. I have tried to keep the essence of the strat by not changing slot #1. That said, I will be marking this as RNG, because if Stormlash kills Hogs with a crit before his second Stampede, it's unlikely you'll be able to finish this fight. |

This is a adaptation of Kalagren's strategy from Elekk Plushie vs. Aki the Chosen. It takes 1 more turn since the leveling pet need to be swapped in.

this is my flavor on this strat. the originator is hard to determine. it is not 100%... there is a little RNG here but after 3 weeks of use (if i imported it right) i have only had to reset 1 time due to the loss of one of the pets

That dragon is a really lightheaded fellow. I don't think he ever stands still for just a second. Not even for a screenshot!

and when you swap during that time, you waste the survive proc and don't protostrike too early when both survive and dive is up.
Also i like using Sandstorm on cooldown, makes the match go by way quicker. (edited)

First three lines should look like this:
change(#2) [ self(#1).active & self.dead ]
change(#2) [ enemy(#3).hp<560 & !self(#2).played ]
change(#3) [ self(#2).active ]

If you use a mid level pet for the first one and your Anubisath Idol dies a little too early the first level pet can finish the fight. It does work.
Simple 1 pet strat
Anubisath Idol Crush stoneskin deflection
Turn 1) any low level pet to lvl that can withstand stampede for 1 turn.
Swap Anubisath
1st enemy pet : keep stonekin on and spam crush
2nd enemy pet: deflection, stoneskin(if needed) then spam crush
3rd enemy pet: stoneskin first, and spam crush use deflection on dive
It's an awful mistake to choose sandstorm for this fight like explained in other strat.
If you need a backup pet : any moth with cocoon to shield against dive.
One more HINT: You can solo it all IF you refresh stoneskin just before the cricket dies, then you just deflect spam crush till enemy #2 dies , then #3 enemy fight is : stone deflect crush (then stone at the turn that dive is active and deflect after that) crush crush crush

Also, Stoneskin on Anubisath instead of Sandstorm. You can safely swap leveling pet in on battle round 4.
