As of Patch 12, I've been losing with this a lot. I'm unsure if there's been a change in power levels, or if they're just getting good RNG repeatedly on me, but my losses are easily outweighing my wins on this one. It may need a re-check with the newest patch to confirm if it's just me!

With the 12.0 updates for the EK, Kalimdor & Northrend Family Battler, this does not appear to be a working strat anymore. Pre 12.0, these were all low level battles, but now they default to your highest lvl pet. If you have a team of lvl 1's, the enemy team will be lvl 1's. If you have a lvl 10, lvl 1 & a lvl 1.. enemy team will all be lvl 10's. So using a single lvl 25 as the strat was built around, means battling a full team of lvl 25's & thus kill the strategy.

thank you! but with the order of this script why not put the level pets in slots 1 and 2? it would save a turn. it should also be noted that a few of these are for the achievement an "awfully big adventure" and for those fights, Trixi and lydia, are a couple i see off the bat, just replace a level pet with the elekk plushie! Late reply, but, Moriarity, you asked "why not put the level pets in slots 1 and 2? it would save a turn".

Yes, but - a levelling pet in first slot has to make a move at the start of the game to get any XP. If you start with your levelling pet and immediately switch out on the first move, it gets no XP. So it wouldn't really save a turn.

I note that in this strat, the levelling pets both have to eat one attack, so if very low level may risk being killed, but ofc there is less danger of that with these lower Tamers.

I do admire the effiecency of this strat - killing so many birds with one stone!

I love 1-pet solutions! I use pet levelling not only for the goodies (see: Pandaria) but to level my characters as well, so strategies like this are extra-efficient.
