I have tried it a few times, seems to work flawlessly. I suppose the backline pets will vary, so it might be that you have to improvise a bit when Vinu is dead. Normally the Crimson Whelp will kill Vinu, and often it is able to solo the whole fight. From the original post on Wowhead: "Started out with Breath. I found this excellent strategy on wowhead, created by victor47613 on 2016/09/19 (Patch 7.0.3), and decided to share it here too.

I have tried it a few times, seems to work flawlessly. I suppose the backline pets will vary, so it might be that you have to improvise a bit when Vinu is dead. Normally the Crimson Whelp will kill Vinu, and often it is able to solo the whole fight.

From the original post on Wowhead:

"Started out with Breath. Then i would heal every time he threw the keg at me and Lift-Off every time he went under the ground.

At one point he will throw a keg at you and you wont be able to heal right away, but he will follow this up with a Dive, when he does just use Lift-off and heal on your next turn"

I could imagine by using another level 25 third pet this tactic could result in a 100% win chance. But i focused on a leveling tactic.

Worked for me the third try, either there wasn't enough damage throughput to the backline the first two attempts or Breath from Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling missed.

I didn't time this but it was around 1:50, which pretty quick for this fight. I appreciate that this the only level 1 pet leveling strat and see it as a solid strat overall. Cheers!
