This finally worked. I lost 4-5 times with this strat. I had to use a 23 Valley Chicken and won. I think you need to have a higher level for your middle pet.

this didn't work for me on a level 20 pet in the middle. everybody died. Maybe it's because I used my pet to do more than just cycle it in. I'll try it again without having it fight.

Tried it a second time and it won by the skin of its teeth. I would suggest a higher level leveling pet. Mine was 18 and it was about 200 away from death when it won.

have lifted to 15 as it has worked every time for me so far. probably RNG involved effecting it though
