Worked first try for me, haven't done further testing. Foulfeather had very little HP when killing the second pet, may have some RNG

At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Stoneskin wasn't a problem for me. I used my Teroclaw Hatchling instead of Blue Flitter after a couple failed attempts. Nature's Ward, then Ravage. It was close, but it worked.

I used two Ikky's and the Teroclow, and that finally worked for me.

Do you know what abilities you set for the Teroclaw? This one is a doozy.

Took me 11 tries but it finally worked.

Worked for me first try, My foulfeather was SS breed so I may have had good RNG. Thank you for posting and than you DAD for script.

It's not necessarily Stoneskin that's the issue, but a combination of breed, strategy instructions, and Enemy RNG.

~ If you use an S/S Foulfeather, you can go farther since you'll be faster than Ridge even after you lose your Flying buff.

~ You can also do more by using Peck/Savage Talon on Shattered Defenses.

~ Too many Crush hits *can* ruin your day with Foulfeather, and without getting a Black Claw + Flock on Tiny Cragling, the Blue Flitter doesn't really have enough oomph to pull the fight through.

~ Tiny Cragling does a lot of damage, has a weather ability that reduces hit chance, and has a stun. It's not a nice combination for the Blue Flitter to counter.

So, really, the indicator here should be that if you don't manage to Black Claw + Flock on Tiny Cragling, your chances are incredibly poor.

Here's a script, though keep in mind the success % is still only ~ 50%

use(#1) [enemy.aura(Shattered Defenses:542).exists & !self(#3).active]
use(Black Claw:919) [!enemy.aura(Black Claw:918).exists]
use(Flock:581)
use(Moth Dust:508)
use(Slicing Wind:420)
standby
change(next)

Thank you Velonna for the strategy and DAD for the script! This worked on my 3rd try - I had finished the other 39 fights for the meta achieve, but I didn't have the right breed of pets for any of the other strategies listed here.

I was able to complete with SB Foulfeather on 2nd reset with stoneskin coming out after my first Flock hit. Didn't even need to use my 3rd pet.

I used Ebonwing moth for my 3rd pet. 1.2.2

Kinda RNG fight. Foulfeather HAS TO KILL the first 2 AND set black claw on the Tiny. Make sure shattered defense is up for Moth Dust.

Dalvoron#2150

wrote on 2024-09-01 08:50:55

Worked first time for me using the script from DragonsAfterDark. Foulfeather S/S, Ikky P/S. Didn't even need third pet. Quills hit three times so that might have helped.

BigFire

wrote on 2024-08-30 22:55:45

My problem is that Tiny Cragling kept on use Sandstorm making the multi hit not usable. I finally went with double Ikky with Nightwatch Swooper. Savage Talon hits quit hard against Tiny Cragling and the Call Darkness nullified his Sandstorm.

BottomText#1890

wrote on 2024-08-28 20:44:58

The RNG seems to be in what moves Ridge uses - if he uses Stoneskin first then Foulfeather will basically never kill him before dying, and a Crush crit is also extremely bad news. If you're trying this strat it may be worth just restarting if he doesn't use Quake first. The strat DOES work under those conditions though.

Tia#1474

wrote on 2024-08-30 20:16:29

Agreed! I tried this strat about 5 times before it finally worked. Very RNG though for sure!! I made it through the first two rounds with Foulfeather still being alive which allowed Ikky to take down the Cragling before Moth had to finish it off.

Luxaetern

wrote on 2024-08-30 14:37:24

Failed several times (not including surrendering for Stoneskin) but won first try after swapping out the moth (which was doing 33ish damage a hit) for my Orphaned Felbat (1,2,1) After my Foulfeather (B/B) and Ikky were taken out, I brought in the Felbat against the Tiny Cragling, opened with Black Claw, followed with Paralyzing Venom, then just bit him to death. Was still kind of tight, and I didn't pay super close attention to crits, so I don't know how lucky I got in regards to that, but might be worth a try for anyone struggling with this strat that has this replacement pet. Made worlds of difference for me, personally.

(OP) Velonna

The general consensus seems to be that if Ridge uses Stoneskin, you need to reset. I have added this to the strat to help others! If this doesn't work, please let me know! (edited)

Worked eventually. Foulfeather needs to solo the first 2 and you still need to be lucky.
