Did this today with a HS Sunblade Micro-Defender (260 AP) and had no issues whatsoever. Rufus had 107 Health left after the second Armageddon and was finished with 1 Claw from Emmigosa, who wreaked havoc on the other 2 pets and came out with around 1055 Health (80%).

Tried it a second time just to be sure and again a similar result.

Maybe it is safe to remove the breed restriction?

The power requirements are there to ensure you get the kill prior to Time Bomb going off, without the power breed it would take up to 2 extra turns.

While viable, it's not as efficient as I like them to be.

Edit: Here is a sim that shows it would be around 6-10 turns (edited)

I had to add 2 x Claw afterward and it still worked, I would suggest not doing surge of power first with the 3rd pet.

Managed with 260 power Sunblade Defender and Emmigosa (poor Emmigosa got down to like 19 health though.. eeek) Instead of immediately doing Surge of Power after her claw I did an arcane storm but then I probably should have done another claw before the SoP... Noted for next time I guess. Great team/strat otherwise, thanks!

Not sure how your pridling got that low, Were you using an H/P Sunblade Defender?

Edit: I have now modified the strat slightly (Replaced Ravenous Prideling with Emmigosa) so if you don't have an H/P Sunblade, it'll still win but will likely take 2 or 4 extra rounds. :p (edited)

If you're use a higher powered #2 pet IE a 2nd TMD you will only need a #3 with ~280+ power IE: like this. With Emmigosa, the dragon trait makes up for the lower power
