Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

I adjusted the priority for Frolick and only did it when Lifft was underground due to his Dive. It worked for me and even made it to Swole...but might have just been lucky.

Worked first try. I used Grainne's script. The Idol finished off the fight, but took 2 more deflections etc. HB, SB, HH.

Zeihgre1 wrote on 2023-05-10 13:32:41

Used a 2/2/2 Flayer youngling, triple snapped until he went underground during first fight, then deflection to avoid the damage, followed with Rampage. Worked first try. Dandelion frolicker finished off the last two, anubisath would be good to finish off if necessary.

The omnislashing to beat down the 2ndary pets seems useless, since his first pet is still at/near full health.

I tried several times with the listed set up, never had good luck.

Yep, P/S Frolicker was able to do Dazzling Dance, Frolick and Bite before die

This worked, but needs a lot of rewriting to make it clearer about what the priorities are for each pet vs each opponent.

Noted! Its my first strategy that has really ever been noticed

Gráinne

Well, it's a good one :)

I just ran it twice, and didn't calculate the arithmetic, but I won twice, and I don't think there is as much RNG as one might expect, given RNG in the trainer's moves, plus Frolic and Sandstorm.

I think that any breed of Frolicker will work fine most of the time. (You currently allow only an S/S.) The other breeds have a speed of 289. That is slower than Brul'dan, so if your Frolicker survives to meet Brul'dan's entry, and Brul'dan uses Shadow Shock first, you are stuffed. But in both of my battles, he started with Curse of Doom. In general, if you have CoD, you want to use it first, so I wouldn't be surprised if he always starts with CoD. If that is true, then your Frolicker will always get the Dazzling Dance in, and after Dazzling Dance, you are faster. I won with a P/S as well as an S/S.

I do agree with UncleVinny that the strat can use reformatting. Lines are cheap - you can use more! :)

Take a look at Dragons' strat here to get a sense of spacing out your lines to spell everything out more clearly. If people CAN misread something, they WILL misread it! :P Use separate, italicised, non-Turn lines to inform the user of what should be happening, like "Lifft will still be alive close to full health"

I would do this something like

Turn 1+ Omnislash until Sunborne Val'kyr dies
(italics) Lifft will still be alive close to full health
(italics) Bring in your Dandelion Frolicker
Priority 1 Frolick when available
Priority 2 Bite
(italics) Lifft dies. Brul'dan enters
Turn 1 Dazzling Dance
Turn 2+ Bite until Frolicker dies
(italics) Bring in your Anubisath Idol
Turn 1 If Brul'dan is still alive, Sandstorm
(italics) Brul'dan dies. Swole Enters
Turn 1 Deflection
Turn 2+ Crush

Well put, Grainne! Sorry I was so brief earlier, I wasn't sure quite how to be more constructive in my criticism. I appreciate your contribution, boodha!
