In all my testing I've only seen Fethres using Feign Death once, so please excuse me for completely ignoring the RNG that would add to the fights. Unfortunately, Fethres' Burn is buffed by Wild Magic and therefore has a 428-594 damage range (not visible in wowhead's tooltip). Without critical hits, a second Arcane Blast would be "save" with your pet at 1189HP or more. I personally set my threshold to 1060 here.
