Didn't test all breeds of Anguilla Strisciante Abissale, but I know H/S and S/S (the two weakest power ones) will not work. I used P/P, but I feel like any of the X/P ones will be fine - just needs to be low enough for Volo Rasoterra to finish off Articnide in one turn.

Do not know how other breeds will fair in this fight. Mine was a Danzatore Giadanube HS and Granchietto Strillaspine PS. Recommending a HS Danzatore Giadanube because I use every bit of its health to kill the first enemy pet.

I don't understand how Ikky died before Drakeula. I just tested and logged a battle. Ikky starts at full health, and takes 2 rounds of Flock damage before Drakeula goes to zero. In the first round, Drakeula hits for 58*3, amd in the second, Drakeula hits for 145*3. Even if all six strikes crit, that would be only 913 damage, not enough to kill Ikky. I suspect something went wrong before that point. Did you lay down the Whirlpool on Drakeula before the PWS died?

Breeds can be important. Certainly you want the most useful breed of your main battlers.
If things dont go as the Rematch note tells you, then
1. You made a mistake. This is the most common reason. I do it too. I do have enough experience to read the log back and see where I made the mistake. And I have the Pet Battle Log Keeper addon to save my battle and check it later, if necessary.
2. You got unlucky. This happens, but it's not common on mainline battles. On some challenge battles like Family, some of the strats have failure chances of 5% or more, but we have to live with those chances because we have no better answers. On one strat I've been using for a couple of years, my first pet died too early yesterday. I was shocked. Did I zone out and make a mistake? Turns out that there were two rounds where my pet could take either two or three hits each round. In this battle, it took three hits both rounds, and 5 of the 6 hits were crits! Really low probability, but it happens sometimes.
3. The strat is bad. Sometimes, people too enthusiastically post strats that worked for them. Once. Generally, those strats will attract comments and the Strategy Curators will come along and fix or remove the strat.
PWS living a round longer is a good thought, but I don't see how the PWS could take less damage from Arctichnid than actually happened in my battle. Hm. Do any of those abilities have damage ranges? ... Just checked. no, no inherent RNG in any of them.
I dunno. Maybe you didn't apply Black Claw? No, that doesn't do it either. Three rounds of Flock finishes Drakeula right on schedule, same as BC + 2 rounds.
I must be missing something. Oh well, if there is actually a flaw, someone will find it someday, but it must be a pretty unlikely event.
Solid strat. Common pets. Clear instructions. 5 stars from me.
And as for kindness, you will find pet battlers and collectors to be the nicest subgroup of WoW players :) Welcome to the tribe!

Still a good strat (I gave it 5 stars, if only for the use of more common pets), but I'm guessing that's what's getting some people.

In my experience, when people leave a short "It didn't work" note, they usually made a mistake. If this failed for you, and you did it right, do please give information that can help us and the Strategy Curators find the problem.
Ideally, the most helpful thing would be a Log , but even a note of where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts, would help.
