2 battles in 315 had my Cursed Dune Watcher die early.
MPD is not an adequate pet in this case.

I have switched to using an S/S breed Clanking Scrapsorter for this purpose.
Punch til Adinakon is at 600 or less then explode.

@Kalagren, Thank you for your strategy. I didn't have the Cursed Dune Watcher so I looked for something with similar speed and power. I used my Sporeling Sprout with Leech Seed as my first move, Crouch next, and then Jab. I renewed Leech Seed when available and continued with Jab until the sprout died, then finished up with my Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and explode as suggested. My level pet in the third slot got the experience. Thanks for getting me started.

Sounds like you did all of the hard work. I am happy you were able to develop a carry strat that worked with a much different pet. Well done.
