Yeah, if a leveling strat takes a few extra seconds to get even a little experience, it is worth it. Still doing the battle for the WQ reward and not leveling. The xp is a simple bonus. Leveling tamers are what everyone levels on.

Doing these battles to get the level 1 pets to level 8 opens the leveling pet for a wider array of leveling strategies. (See best strategies for Nightwatchr Merayl)

I got around 100 XP, no where near 1000. I can see if you want to boost a level 1 maybe, there are just so many other fights for that that net you more xp. So, its not what I would consider a "leveling fight". Its a low XP fight. (edited)

Up to you my man. My level 22 uncommon pet just got 818xp*, but either way 100xp for 4 seconds extra, doesn't make much difference to me, I was going to do the strat for the WQ anyway :p

I do have another quicker strat that doesn't use a level pet if you'd prefer that
