The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Nice and clean script, but sadly it's broken. I imagine the skills and/or strat have changed since it was written. Here's one that works today (Jan 2024):

standby [round=1]
use(Thunderbolt:779)
use(Explode:282)
use(Inflation:1002)
use(Shock and Awe:646)
use(Ion Cannon:209)
change(next)

Just pass on Turn 4. Darkmoon Zeppelin won't be getting any attacks in before it's forcibly changed out.

DavidG wrote on 2018-02-27 01:56:59

Trim one round at the end by setting up the Tonk (1,1,2) and then simply finishing with Ion Cannon as soon as the Tonk is swapped in.

doesn't have the speed

wrote on 2018-05-30 09:34:44

What do you mean "doesn't have the speed"? Why would it require speed? It's simply using a much harder hitting ability in place of Shock and Awe so you don't need turn 10.

I slipped up right at the end, round 9, fortunately Lock-On works to! :D

Iron Starlette (1-2-2)
Blackfuse Bombling (2-1-1) mine was (h/h) but as long as his health is higher than ur 3rd
Dranei Micro Defender( 1-2-2)<--- any1 with ion cannon really

Iron gets swap for Blackfuse Bombling
Bombing run
explode
bring in Draenei Micro Defender (or whoever you decide to make your 3rd)
Draenei gets swaped out with your Iron Starlette
Toxic Smoke
explode
Bring in Draenei Micro Defender
Ion Cannon

For fun I swaped out iron and blackfuse with 2 other guys with explode used a strong beast attack then explode and Ion Cannon still finished him off so..

Any pet with explode and a strong against beast pet
Any pet with explode and a strong against beast pet
any pet with ion cannon so long as its health is lower than the other explode pet for the very first swap

Mordachai wrote on 2017-09-23 14:36:28

I don't have a Zeppelin, so I used Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (2,2,2). On turn 2 I used Fly-By and turn 3 I used Thunderbolt. Kept everything else the same and got the win.

Clewara wrote on 2017-09-06 02:59:16

Make it one round shorter by doing a Bombing Run in Round 3. That Missile in Round 4 isn't going to land anyway, and this way the bomb lands nearly on top of Bling's Inflation debuff. Shock & Awe mops up.

Good suggestion, added. Thank you :-)

Quintette wrote on 2017-09-20 02:19:52

Second this suggestion. Missile from Zep didn't land, but the bomb and Shock & Awe were enough.

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-09 19:06:32

Shorten it more by taking Ion Cannon for the Tonk's 3rd ability and using it in Turn 9

WiredTexan wrote on 2017-09-12 10:42:28

Concur with ... Anon :) Shortens fight by one turn.

EyeSage wrote on 2017-09-11 20:25:19

That's a great strategy. I tried to get it on my own first I put in 3 pets with decoy. Use it before he pounces, so that pounce and the void switch are avoided, otherwise just use the mechanical attacks or whatever it available. I had a sticky grenade and a bombing run and haywire. Type in decoy in the search bar but beware (mechanical axebeak is flying not mechanical). Decoy for me worked the first time I tried it.

Dakini wrote on 2017-09-11 17:01:34
