Hi Craizee. https://www.wow-petguide.com/index.php?m=UsingTDScripts is an excellent guide to help you understand what TD scripts are, what they do, and even how to create your own if you want. Basically, they allow you to simply press one button repeatedly (usually A unless you change it) to complete a pet battle. But, they can also go beyond what simple turn by turn instructions can do by allowing for certain conditions that may change during each battle and perform your appropriate response/counter maneuver that would be best in each situation. The downside is not all TD scripts are perfect and some have flaws. But the pros far outweigh the cons as you'll soon discover if you take a bit of time to use them.

As several others have commented, Ikky rarely needs more than the first black claw/flock combo. The Direbeak never sees action. So, with the single opponent fights giving more xp than the others, I switched out the Direbeak for a leveling pet. Put the leveler in the first slot, then follow the Unborn Valk/Ikky strat as listed. Even a lvl 1 earns xp, and with this being Pet Battling Week....well, good things happen.

Actually, you don't really need Curse of Doom. I've done it a lot with just Haunt, bring in Ikky, Black Claw, then flock. He always dies before Curse of Doom goes off.

I did this today. I did curse of doom, haunt, brought in Ikky, did black claw and then flock. In exactly that order. That was all it took to win. Potentially an RNG right but it worked perfectly for me - more than perfectly.
