Strat is straight up insane RNG, went 0 for 5, deflected all necessary abilities & sandstormed off CD. It just failed. Emerald Proto Whelp here is 300x better if you have it

Thanks for your comment. There is always rng if you are doing tanaan fights. I guess you were unlucky with backline pets (P/P breed, rare pets,...). In that case it's better to use Emerald Proto Whelp tanking the damage. I updated the strategy for alternative pets such as Emerald Proto Whelp or Dream Whelpling.

I think I've narrowed it down to a Rare Tree Python with Hiss, Viscious Fang & Counter Strike.. Causes a fail every single time, at least in the multiple runs I've done with this strat with other enemies as well.

Bleakclaw has 1801 health
Unholy Ascension* 25%p + howl 100%p - Elite 50%p = 75%
--> 1,75 * 740 Surge of Power * 1,5 (strong against flying pets) = 1942
--> 1942 > 1801 --> Bleakclaw is definitely dead on Turn 4
