While Feuerbrand is much, much better for backline healing, I've found out Flammenwerfer adds a little more stability, as dropping a DoT later means it smoothes out the Brand's RNG. You can use Feuerbrand first cast only, but you will risk Gyrexle healing out because Failsafe didn't trigger. I think it has something to do with different backline/weather abilities affecting the Gyrexle's health in a way that causes them to use Reparieren late/early enough. 	Raindawn	I'd like to start off by saying that the suggested strategy using Puddle Terror is by far the safest strategy out there, i was able to solo it with just Sunlight/Nature's Ward, killing off the back line entirely during the first encounter. And considering that the pet is very cheap on AH, there's hardly any excuse not to use that strategy. But for this one, i was basically messing around to bring back a little bit of a challenge, while also playing it safe. Been using this strat for years and can confirm it's still the #1 best strat for this fight as of 4/2/2025, TWW patch 11.1. NO SUBSTITUES, you must use the exact pets and breeds specified!

I was unsure how this would play out and ran with it :) It failed. The Imp spammed FT a lot more than I thought was functional, the whelp did not finish the lantern in 3..and the imp spamming FT on the Eternal Mechanic and gheddon does not appear to have been cast at all, so unsure if the SCRIPT is the issue or something in a recent update. Its 12/08/2024.

So far one of the most annoying fights I have done. This team has failed every time I have tried. Right out the gate Imp loses more than 50% HP. Whelp doesn't even live long enough to do the 3 breaths before dyeing, I don't get how you guys got this to work as when I have got close they heal. All my pets are just as the guide lists as well. I had alot more written but clicked refresh by accident :(

Essentially I just ran this. IMP finished the fight with 900HP remainng and the ROT was ~600 non crit damage so there should be enough fat in the system to last.

TMD took 893 Non crit damage while using flame breath so even with crits it won't send it into Fail safe mode until its to late for the enemy team.

All this presumes an S/S Imp and TMD

Now you do say "Whelp" in your comment so can I confirm 100% you were not using Obsidiankriegswelpe as that will not work as an alternative.

Stufe 1+ Haustier	Remte	In this vast jungle, a low-hanging fruit isn't entirely unexpected. While Feuerbrand is much, much better for backline healing, I've found out Flammenwerfer adds a little more stability, as dropping a DoT later means it smoothes out the Brand's RNG. You can use Feuerbrand first cast only, but you will risk Gyrexle healing out because Failsafe didn't trigger. I think it has something to do with different backline/weather abilities affecting the Gyrexle's health in a way that causes them to use Reparieren late/early enough. Please comment with any details you might share. I have also done this fight multiple times with Darkflame instead of Early Advantage. See which one you prefer. 	Raindawn	I'd like to start off by saying that the suggested strategy using Puddle Terror is by far the safest strategy out there, i was able to solo it with just Sunlight/Nature's Ward, killing off the back line entirely during the first encounter. And considering that the pet is very cheap on AH, there's hardly any excuse not to use that strategy. But for this one, i was basically messing around to bring back a little bit of a challenge, while also playing it safe.
