Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
Unobtainable
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

Fast and easy, for those who have the pets needed.

Probably nice and all, but I have to vote 1 when using unobtainable pets

Or you can just use a different strategy ^^

There are plenty of strategies here that use common, easily obtainable pets, and downvoting a strategy that works 100% of the time just because *you* don't have a pet is not a good metric for rating strategies. (edited)

I don't have Baa'lial either. Unfortunately, as the creator of this strategy, I can't give 1 star. what a shame! :(

That's an ... interesting ... perspective.

Merchron, I see you have the unobtainable pet Molten Corgi, fully levelled. Do you also give one star to every strat you use him in?

According to the stats, about half the people on Xu-Fu have Baa'lial. Now, I agree that it's outrageous that Blizzard have not (yet) made him available since the event, but do you really believe that people who do have him should not be allowed to take advantahe of his battling capabilities? /smh

I used a Pocket Cannon instead of the Crimson Spore with no problems, probably any pet with Explode will work!

Eldiin wrote on 2024-09-07 22:54:55

A different setup used:
1. Unborn Val'kyr - X, Curse of Doom, Haunt
2. Ikky - X, Black Claw, Flock
3. Zandalari Anklerender (backup) - Hunting Party, X, Black Claw

First Turn: Curse of Doom
Second Turn: Haunt
Third Turn, Switch to Ikky, then cast Black Claw
Fourth Turn: Flock
Should win by the fifth turn, but if not, keep doing the black claw and flock/hunting party

Note: For pets 2 and 3, you can use ANY pet that has black claw and some form of flock or hunting party. The ones I have listed are the ones I have actually leveled to 25.

Braenna wrote on 2024-09-06 13:24:02

ikky w/ black claw->flock worked beautifully as well :)

boomspur wrote on 2024-09-05 10:37:28

for anyone that does not have Baa'lial like me a zandalari anklerender ..black claw then hunting party does the job :)

Baa'l can substitute Baa'lial using Shadowflame + Scorched Earth instead of Trample

Essere wrote on 2024-09-04 16:59:22

this variation worked great. 5 rounds rather than 4. thanks both for posting it
