Worked yesterday, but failed today; same party, same script. Lil' Bling died before Glitzy came out. The enemy team crit nearly constantly, so it may have just been bad luck. Used the TD script obtained by clicking the "Script" button next to the team.

EDIT:
Tried it again on the next run, same pets, same script. Worked perfectly without issue. Looks like a series of really unfortunate crits can mess this strat up but, I'd like to stress, it was A LOT of crits in the first few rounds; I'm fairly confident the first five abilities from the enemy all crit or something. I don't know if they changed this recently, but I cannot win this one. I've tried several times with several combinations, including this one and the one where I substitue the Raven for the XD. Nothing seemed to be working for me. Then I tried swapping out the Raven/XD for Tranquil Yeti, and that worked perfectly. The combination of lightning and Ion Canon as enough to take him out. It didn't get downvoted. ""Anonymous" is not a registered user. You can see that because the name isn't clickable. And so the comment started with 0 likes.

Registered users' comments start with a default score of 1. Anonymous users' comments start with a default score of zero. You just voted it up to 1. Which was bad. I'm not going to downvote it, because I don't care either way about the likes here, except when some exceptionally good comment gets a lot of likes because it contains information that helps a lot of people.

The reason it was a bad comment is that it alleges a fault in a strat while giving no information about the alleged fault. IF the strat is genuinely at fault, it doesn't help at all with how to fix it. I have a standard post about this:

There are several people who investigate reports of problems with strategies on Xu-Fu's. There are designated Strategy Curators, and other regulars who read comments and are interested in the latest.

In my experience, when people leave a short "It didn't work" note, they usually made a mistake. Maybe they used a pet with the wrong Speed, maybe they didn't do a Pass where it was indicated, sometimes they were even using the team and strat from a completely different battle. :)

Sometimes there genuinely is a problem with the strat. This is where the Curators and others come in, checking the strat for weaknesses, and fixing it or removing it if it can't be fixed.

Since most failure reports with no details are wrong, it's not good to waste people's time investigating them. Instead, help them by providing the information they need.

If the strat failed for you, and you want your comment to be taken seriously:

1. Specify EXACTLY which species and breeds you used.

2. Specify whether you read the strategy from the site and executed it manually, or downloaded and used the tdScript.

3. Specify EXACTLY where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts. What died too early? What didn't die when it was supposed to? What attack missed?

4. If possible, provide a log. You can see your log in the Pet Battle tab of your chat box. You can pull that out, make it bigger, screenshot it. Better still, you can use the addon Battle Pet Log Keeper from Curseforge, and do /pblk and Save Battle when the battle you want to log is complete.

Almost any strat can fail to a really unlucky string of crits, and some difficult challenge strats like the Family ones may fail more than anyone likes, but the people behind this site do their best to promote well-working strats. Do your part. Provide useful information.

The thing I don't understand is that the strat states the Microbot XD must have a speed of at least 259 but the Microbot XD only has one breed and it is slower than 259. Doesn't that imply that the strat is fundamentally busted? Sorry I don't have log. I am very grateful to all strategy makers.

The strat is correct, but your question about Microbot XD is a good and interesting one.

But the stat constrained is not speed, but power. The stat specifies Power>259.

That third pet needs ONLY to do a Supercharge and Ion Cannon. The site will automatically offer any pets that have Supercharge and Ion Cannon as substitutes.

The only two pets at the moment that have both of those are Microbot XD and Microbot 8D. Microbot XD has more power, at 287, and so that is the only one that will finish the battle with just those two moves. Hence, the power restriction.

Since Shenk knows his stuff, I assume that the specific Power number was chosen because that is exactly the amount of Power that will give enough damage to finish the battle. Just in case a new pet is introduced with those two abilities.

what gráinne said. you can do the math to calculate how much damage an ability deals given a certain amount of power. 260 is the minimum to guarantee those two abilities will kill the enemy pet
and yes i gave it the power restriction so if they add a new pet that also has these two moves it would automatically be added to the substitutes and i wouldn't have to mention it in the description

Great Strat. Not having the 딱딱가시 아기게 I went with an S/B 부정깃털 and it all went off fine using the 무리 in place of the 떼 ability.

Needed to make some changes:

Used Chitterspine Skitterling S/S 2/2/2 Esperimental Roach H/H 1/2/2 and Mech Pandaren Draggonling S/S 1/2/2

Start with Black claw, Swarm x 1 then should be in undead round; during undead round, bring in roach and hit with apocalypse, then switch back to Chitterspine.

Next move doesn't matter Chitterspine dies but he should soak the big hit from Fury

Bring in Pandaren Dragonling and Decoy first even though Fury's recovering, Breath until you can Decoy again, resume Breath until within 1 round of Apocalype (or just let pandaren die with it). Note Fury will give you big hit again on your Pandaren, take advantage and pass once or twice. You are simply gaining rounds (ones with no damage to you) until Apocalypse...just make sure you can finish him off and get Glitzy up when apocalype triggers. When it triggers, Fury should already be dead and Glitzy will be at roughly 2/3 health. Also, your Pandaren will likely be in failsafe as well. You can't swap for your roach earlier because glitzy will one shot your roach. Apocalype triggers.

Win :)

Please note Still a bit of RNG but way better than any other strat I've tried

I have two Chitterspines and two MPD's and (like we all have) several roaches...just in case. (edited)

This script needs some protection against the second enemy pet being alive when Microbot comes in. He uses the supercharge combo on the second pet and the fight is a loss.

This worked nicely, but I did add in Bling's Make it Rain as the first turn against Glitzy, before inflation. Make it Rain carried on causing significant damage, meaning that together with one Alert! by the Microbot as its first round before the supercharge/ion cannon combo, Glitzy was brought low enough for supercharge/ion cannon to finish him off.

I've done this instance 9 times now and this strategy has RNG even with the supercharge script fix. I would recommend you have a backup strategy. Or do the quick log out bandage on alt and log back in. You have to be quick and have an SSD hard drive or it times out the run.

For me, the strat still worked for SL pre-patch, but the script didn't work for me against the last pet (Glitzy). After Lil'Bling died and Microbot came in, the script immediately used Ion Cannon, rather than Supercharge then Ion Cannon, which ended up in Glitzy not dying and me dying when stuck recharging and not able to finish him off with a different attack. This can be corrected by selecting Supercharge manually first, but something seems off with the script.

Three pets i used were Artic Hare, Lil Bling and Clock em, use counter strike when you get hit with Glitzy and switch back and forth between that and jab and Glitzy will die. It might take a couple tries to get the hare to take down the undead pet but worth it

I did this with Hare, Lil Bling and Macabre Marionette. Dodge, stampede, flurry. then on Bling - shield, inflation, make it rain. Inflation will hit Glitzy. Macabre use Maraca 3x and you win. (its very close but works!) :D

Cant handle this fight. My Chitterspine Skitterling SB and died 3 times in a row too early, even didnt finish first enemy. So a whole strat doesnt work.

Tricky fight and I am using DM Tonk (shock & awe, ion cannon) in third slot. I guess I was lucky with Yeti on my first try, never worked again.Lil'Bling has to get Inflation in before he dies and have to make sure ion cannon will kill otherwise you just recovering (2 rounds) while enemy kills you. Great strat! Works even with with a 23 Chitterspine and Tranquil Yeti with Supercharge + Call Lightning combo + Metal fist at the end.

I don't have a Microbot XD so I tried the Tranquil Mechanical Yeti in the third slot and, yep, it worked fine. I didn't even have to use Metal Fist to finish the pet off.

So it did work today. Not sure what the issue was; I tried over a dozen times yesterday and no go. Today worked on first try. Weird.

Starlette worked for me, I have an P/S. I hit Glitzy with Wind-Up twice. Wish I could remember health on Glitzy. I know Lil' Bling worked health down some before being killed off. I think probably best play would be 1,*,2; hit with wind-up, then supercharge. I didn't have Supercharge set up to test that. Well, anyway, there you go.

Worked fine last few weeks, this week 0 for 6 now. Sucks being 2nd to last boss and having to do it all over again.

no need to do it all over again. if you fail a fight, log out/into an alt with bandages. heal up then return to pet dungeon.

Unfortunately, that apparently no longer works - tried it today, for the first time: logged out, onto an alt to do a thing -and back to my dungeon, only to find myself out of the "arena" and back on fight # one again. *sigh* It was a nice thought, though. Just be warned... .

it does still work. just don't take your time on another character. if it's taking you too long your dungeon will be reset

This one was funny. My skitter lives long enough to land both a black claw and a trample on the second arcane pet. He melted against my blington with one make it rain and one inflation. Made the entire fight just flash back.

Used this for the prior 2 weeks with no issues, but it failed on me today. A few early unlucky crits and the Chitterspine died way early. So Lil' Bling ended up having to come in to eat the first pet's undead round.

The extra damage on Lil. Bling from the first pet made him not survive the second pet, so he ended up dying before Fury, meaning, the microbot had to finish off fury, but more importantly, since he died early, Lil' Bling wasn't able to hit Glitzy with Inflation before he died, meaning her armor wasn't shattered, so the microbot didn't get the juice to kill her.

This strat works most of the time, but If the chitterspine dies too quickly, the other team gains too much momentum for things to hold together.

Furthermore failure leaves you dead in the water late in the dungeon, because your Lil Bling is dead and literally EVERY strategy for this fight on this website (at the time I'm writing this) uses Lil Bling. (edited)

even if you would replace the chitterspine with gulp froglet or high health elusive skimmers this can still happen to you. sometimes it doesn't even need crits then, but high rolls on skull toss for the strat to fail.
since the chitterspine is a wild caught pet there is no reason to not get 3 25s. similarly i'd recommend everybody to get at least 2 lil blings since they are so prominent in 8.3 strats

Agreed with Shenk ... there is definitely some RNG. If you want less RNG and you are willing to go through more rounds (i.e. 50 turns), try https://www.wow-petguide.com/?Strategy=7954 ... Same first pet, the 2nd two pets are healing pets ... long fight

This failed for me twice today - Microbot ends up leaving ~75 hp on last pet and dies while recharging.

Can't say I was paying too much attention the first time around because I wasn't expecting it to fail - but I do recall the second time it failed, I had considered just doing Ion Cannon as last step, w/o supercharge because there was one stack left of shattered defenses and maybe a little over 1k health.

Also, I wrote "bling" incorrectly in my first comment - corrected to microbot - apologies (edited)

If you follow this strategy there will always be 2 rounds left of shattered defenses when the microbot comes in. If just one round was left at that point lil bling didn't use inflation before it died (edited)

I had this issue. Lil' Bling died before Fury, so he never applied Shattered Defenses to GLitzy and Microbot died during Recovering round. This worked twice for me without an issue, and there was no RNG so unsure what happened.

I did not have 2 of these 3 pets ready to battle. So I used a gulp frog */2/1 toxin skin then swarm till dead. bring in Bling plating, make it rain, inflation till dead, and in place of the bot the Darkmoon Tonk */1/2 and used shock and awe and ion cannon to finish him off. Won the first try.
*Edit - I have gone ahead and added the full step by step strategy that I used to the alternatives tab. First time ever submitting,so hopefully its okay! *fingers crossed* haha :) (edited)

strats dont work regularly enough. the whole dungeon has to much RNG on every fight.
very unenjoyable.
the absurd RNG makes it possible to fail on any boss fight each time. poorly balanced to the other dungeons. hope they fix it.

Not sure what teams you are using. Ran the entire dungeon twice through so far and never had 1 boss fail. If you are here I assume you are using the guides provided. Make sure you have the proper breeds and follow each step

i am using the guides and have the correct pets and breeds, but RNG crits fail at least 1 fight every go through. this particular fight Lil' bling takes to much damage before it gets damage going and the bot does no where near enough damage to nd the fight and the substitutions suggested dont work either. Sadly this did not work for me either. And the problem is that XuFu site only has 3 other strats and all use lil Bling so pretty much done if lose this fight.

Chitterspine and Bling were perfect. I didn't have the Mechagon pet so I used Iron Starlette 2,X,1. Just supercharge then demolish on the last pet and win.

must pass when it says to, and bling lasted longer (4 rounds longer) so i did make it rain, and inflation. used tonk shock and awe then Ion Cannon

I can confirm this worked just fine with a DM Tonk, using S&A then Ion Cannon as the last 2 moves (as opposed to XD's Supercharge->Ion Cannon)

The microbot is a remnant from the pre-nerf version of this fight. Back then the over the top damage was a necessity. I kept it in because it is just the safest finisher, especially when you had bad RNG with Lil bling (edited)

You dont need supercharge, just use any other high damage ability like shock and awe with darkmoon tonk
