9.0.2 Update: Adjusted TD script to account for the questionable buffs to weather abilities, including Sunlight, Moonfire, and Cleansing Rain, which are all present in this fight. The fight is slightly less reliable now because Dignity heals for more with Cleansing Rain, but that will only matter if you get incredibly unlucky and don't crit during Hawk Eye.
This strategy allows you to level any level one pet. It doesn't need to have a certain amount of health, it won't take damage at all. The leveling pet must be in the second slot for this to work. I recommend the Sprite Darter Hatchling if you have one, due to its higher health. You can use an S/S Nether Faerie Dragon, but you'll risk having to restart if Beauty and Conviction land too many crits for your Faerie Dragon to survive the third turn against Conviction. |

Tested with a PB and a PP Nexus Whelpling. Be sure to swap in leveling pet when Convinction will cast Dark Rebirth, swap back in your first pet and let it die, so that you can kill Convinction with your third pet and start fighting Dignity with your flyer already in.
As a third pet, you can use anything that can reliably kill Dignity in 3 turns, to avoid him casting Tidal Wave. Any flyer with Alpha Strike and enough power should do. You can level up anything that can survive Sunlight on the first turn: any pet with > 158 HP or any critter, mechanical or magic pet. Script thanks to Tasmanien |

Important: This strategy works if your first pet is faster or slower than Conviction, but you need to use Evanescence if you're faster, and use Life Exchange if you're slower. I don't recommend using an S/B Nether Faerie Dragon, as it will be the same speed as Conviction on its first round, so it will be random which pet attacks first.
Update: Added TD script. Times: 1:25 using a P/P Nether Faerie Dragon 1:41 using an H/P Nether Faerie Dragon 1:26 using an S/S Nether Faerie Dragon or Sprite Darter Hatchling |

This is my first attempt at creating a team that can level nearly any level 1 pet against this trainer. This strategy only works with S/S breed Nether Faerie Dragon (and therefor also Sprite Darter Hatchling).
Unfortunately, the strategy isn't perfect. If the one Tidal Wave that hits your leveling pet crits, you will fail. There is also one or two other scenarios where a series of unlucky crits by either the opponent's pets or your pets can cause this strategy to fail. But I am still happy with it as it works most of the time and allows you to level nearly any level 1 pet. |

Tested with a SB Nether Faerie Dragon and a SS Sprite Darter Hatchling, but it should be doable with other breeds as well. Just be sure to swap in leveling pet when Convinction will cast Dark Rebirth, swap back in your first pet and let it die, so that you can kill Convinction with your third pet and start fighting Dignity with your flyer already in.

This is a modification of the strategy created by morazor#2212 (https://wow-petguide.com/?Strategy=4103). The key to this strategy is to kill Dignity in 3 rounds to prevent Tidal Wave killing a low-level carry pet.
I've only tested it with an H/P NFD in slot 1 and a P/S Gilnean Raven in slot 3. Note that if you get "lucky" with Crits, it is possible for Conviction to die too soon (i.e. before your NFD or before casting Dark Conviction). If this happens, quit. |

Approximate fight time: 1:15 - 1:20 on 11 rounds.
1:11 - 1:16 using the TDScript as measured by the Pet Battle Log Keeper add-on (but occasionally there is a lag glitch when Beauty uses Quills, which delays the fight). This strategy is fairly quick and mostly consistent, but may fail in some edge cases with unlucky RNG number crunches (such as Conviction's health not hitting the 1-400 window that is optimal for the swap). Level pet requirement details: Level 1+ for mechanical, magic, critter, or 159+ health pets. Level 2+ needed for all other pets. Level 3+ or 238+ health needed to survive a critical hit of Sunlight. Pet breed substitutions: PP Nexus Whelpling and PS Zandalari Kneebiter are the most consistent breeds, but other breeds may work with reduced consistency: Nexus Whelpling - other breeds as well as Stormborne Whelpling may work. Zandalari Kneebiter - SS may work (PP and PB are too slow, and Zandalari Anklerender doesn't have Bloodfang). |

FYI; the reason I mention the S/S breed Bronze Whelpling as a pet every battler should have is because its used, alongside Widget the Departed, in a 2-pet strat to defeat Squirt's pets when she visits level 3 garrisons. When that coincides with Mark of the Critter week, you can boost lvl1 pets to 25 in 2 battles. Personally, I have 2 Widgets and 2 Bronze Whelplings (soon to be 3 of each). When you get to know the rotation off-by-heart, you can level a pet from 1 to 25 in a little over 4 minutes. It's well worth the investment, whether that be in gold buying one from the AH or in time farming one from Badlands.
Thanks also, Tassy and Hedu.
I'm hoping some of my strats will come in useful if/when Aranesh implements specific leveling and/or speedkill strats (go on, Aranesh, you know you want to!!!).

Anyway, I wanted to learn a bit about how to write scripts so I picked an active WQ for which I have my own strat (this one was available and seemed fairly straight forward) and went at it. This is the result. It works exactly as intended but if anyone knows how to shorten it, I would like to see how so that I can learn a bit more about the process.
Without further ado, here's my first TDScript for Rematch with my own strat:

ability(115)

Teroclaw Hatching (H/P) 2-2-2
Level Pet probably around level 10
Strategy Use Super Effective Cooldowns (green arrows)
When Teroclaw vs last pet just dodge the aqua jet - I even used heal which turns you into elemental and your weak to water type, and still rolled him with like 50%+ hp as a joke.
only reason I used the above is I didn't have the required pets others are using. But legit could have used a level pet here was that easy.
(never got to use backup pet which was Bronze whelping or any dragon pet with magic)
