Did this with 2 Nether Faerie Dragons (P/B & H/P), same build as in the guide, plus a P/S (it's a must, as you need to outspeed the enemy) Nexus Whelpling ?/2/2. Each Faerie Dragon dropped a Cyclone on their first turn, used Life Exchange when they were fairly low and used Arcane Blast otherwise. Nexus Whelping dropped an Arcane Storm and nuked down the tamer with Mana Surge.

I did end up doing this one (Yu'la and Deathwing not levelled yet), but I didn't succeed until I swapped the Nexus Whelpling for a faster Stormborne Whelpling.

Hard rounds but after 3 tires it worked, I could not get Chrominius to finish him off always 20-130 point on his health.

Couldnt get this strategy to work so changed it about

1) Sprite Darter Hatchling 2-2-2
2) Nether Faerie Dragon 1-2-2
3) Chrominius 1-1-2

Start with Cyclone, then Life Exchange. Swap to Nether Faerie Dragon. Life Exchange then Slicing Wind, (otherway round killed me every time). Then Slicing Wind till pet dies (which is pretty quickly).

I brought in the Sprite Darter Hatchling again. and used Life Exchange again. The move after that Sprite Darter Hatchling died. Flummox was low enough to use Howl + Surge of Power with Chrominius.

Tried this since I was either missing a pet or didn't have one leveled from the other stats, and it wasn't bad. First time I nearly had it, the second time though my NFD got two shot before it could use Life Exchange. Third time must really be a charm though lol.

Made an account just to upvote this. Worked perfectly first try using P/B NFD. Threw in an arcane blast with SDH when NFD died one move too early and continued as written. Thanks!

Lost 4 times then swappeed Chrominius for Red Dragonhawk Hatchling. 1,1,2. Flamebreath, Conflag, Claw (I used Quill but it didnt seem to do much damage so Claw might be more effective). Not sure if this will hold up but it worked out better for me.

I got it done with Yu'la, Dark whelpling and Chrominus. Used celestial blessing, life exchange. Yu'la dies, in comes dark whelpling. Call darkness, lift off and then breath until death. Chrominus, howl and surge of power. Might take a few tries because of bad luck with missing due to call darkness

Depends on how much hp he can take off him i guess, the point of lil'deathwing is the elementium bolt getting howls double dmg + the stun, i dont see the nightmare whelping doing that, but the reduced healing might end up meaning u can do enough dmg without him healing much.

Strat worked after a few tries (RNG love) ...but i didnt get credit for my triple dragon team. After submitting a ticket, Blizz replied "check wowhead as a good source of info" ........after 9 years of playing wow i think i know what wowhead is and that something didn't register hence my GM ticket, sheesh :/

I forgot to include but, the Nether faerie dragon should be slower than 672, u get more worth out of life exchange then, which make the fight a lot smoother. And then u need the guy to not crit :x.

Admittedly, this fight is marked hard for this particular pet family. RNG is *all over the place* on this fight - Flummox does not use the same attacks in the same sequence, far from it. Took 7 tries, but this strategy finally worked (one other attempt was a mutual kill, so that almost worked, but poison DoT took me out after I killed him).
