Turn 5 doesn't happen, I get coach after Sir Murkeston NOT dies in the backrow and the harpy has flying abilities that doesn't do enough damage. Get wiped out time after time with this "strategy".

I used Sister and followed the first few steps but instead of the Idol I used Bonkers with Jab, Dodge and Tornado Punch, which are strong against drgonkinb dodged the first attack from Greatest Foe. Winged it with Coach and died leaving Coach at 476 health. Then came in my level 21 Moonkin Hatchling with Solar Beam, Clobber and Moonfire. Passed, moonfired (strong against flying), clobbered then solar beamed him, won and hogged up all that experience that brought my moonkin to 23 ^_^

Great Strat I didn't have the Harpy so I used BABY WINSTON 1,2,2 started off with Heroic Leap and then Logic and finallyTelsa Canon to finish off the last.

I'd suggest using Stoneskin instead of Sandstorm on the Anubisath Idol. The Sandstorm always cools down on the same round Coach takes off, so all you're doing is hurting your own damage and chance to hit. The Sandstorm will never land to do damage.

Indeed quite an RNG dependent fight where crits can go heavily against you. I used Sister and Idol as described in the strat and put a Curious Wolvar Pup (1-2-1) in the third spot. Strong against dragonkin but barely managed to survive with 40 HP. Won the fight, nevertheless.

I totally destroyed Sir Galverston in a very easy way:

FLAYER YOUNGLING (1,2,1)
ANUBISATH IDOL (1,1,1)
KUN-LAI RUNT (2,2,2)

You should be able to win the fight with Kun-Lai Runt full health, just be sure that Flayer Youngling have more than 278 speed (just make him rare through flawless battle-stone)

Another happy customer using the Flayer Youngling. I had Greatest Foe as the second pet , so Youngling made easy work of Murkidan and Greatest Foe. He died when Coach was at about 50%, with 2 full health pets left it wasn't hard to finish the fight without issues.

Totally agree with Painbow. So I decided to make notes while I attempted this. This does work. I started with flayer youngling s/s. Deflection , kick, takedown. Greatest foe came out. Deflection, kick, takedown until dead. Murkston comes back out. Deflection, kick, takedown. Coach comes out. Pass, deflection, takedown till flayer youngling dies. Swap in idol. Sandstorm, pass, deflection to block proto attack, crush till dead. Murkston comes out and at this point was able to kill with crush without even touching kun-lai runt. Boom shakalaka.

This is an example of where Xu-Fu's refusal to specify breeds is really hurting him. I just did this fight with a P/S Flayer Youngling, and using Phux's advice it completely destroyed both Murkalot and Greatest Foe, with just under half its health remaining. Sure, it's a bit of work to get specific breeds of the Younglings, since they come in all ten possible breeds, but with an S/S, a P/S and an H/P in my stable, I've not run into a situation where one of the three won't shine. And you only have to capture them once, after that they're good for life.

Not weighing in on the strategy itself, but just as a clarification to the last point: I'm absolutely not refusing to specify breeds. They are often stated in the strategies, and in fact adding a field for it is on my roadmap :-)

I do nevertheless prefer to build strategies where breeds do not matter. Simply because breeds are an active game system that is completely unexplained within the game, and that is not supported by any proper built-in UI element.
In my eyes, this is the reason for much criticism against pet battles, and an additional blocker for people new to it. Not everyone uses addons, not everyone is happy to install new ones just so they are able to do pet battles. I'm not a fan of forcing people to do just that.

That being said, I do know that some fights, especially within Family Familiar, are very difficult to do without specific breeds.

I didn't have a lvl 25 sister, so I substituted it with a Kun-Lai Runt (2/2/2). Kun-Lai and Anubisath Idol soloed the fight, no needing the harpy at all.

My Sister of Temptation was the wrong breed so I barely got it done with Feral Vermling (1,1,1), Anubisath Idol (1,1,1) and Wretched Servant (1,1,2). TONS of RNG in this fight.

Good Strategy, I have 2 Anubisth idols, so I went with Wretched Servent and two of Idol, cause I didn't have the best humans leveled, but this strat of mine worked great. Protection from the last pets massive smash helps.

Variable fight. My first try, Greatest Foe was the last enemy alive. The Harpy Youngling is incapable of doing enough damage to kill him, thanks to all of her attacks being Flying-type, which dragons are strong against.

The strategy for this fight doesn't feel like it was thoroughly tested. The 3 pets in this fight swap frequently, so scripting this fight seems futile. Sir Murkeston swapped out after the first turn for me 2 times in a row, and on the second attempt, the bird Coach was swapped in making my Sister of Temptation useless. The first attempt Sir Murkeston swapped with Greatest Foe who nuked my Idol in 2 turns with Breath and Darkflame. I finally beat the fight putting the Idol first to fight Coach (who swapped in on the second turn), and swapping the Sister of Temptation for Baby Winston, who was able to kill Greatest Foe. I used Harpy Youngling to finish Sir Murkeston.

It only works if the rng is in your favour. It went totally against me and my youngling was no match for the Greatest Foe.

As mentioned before the fight can switch on you a bit. The first time I did it, Coach came in instead of Greatest Foe. I did not have a Sister or Harpy leveled so I used Treasure Goblin (1,1,1) Anubisath Idol (1,1,1) & Murkidan (1,1,2) in that order. I started out with Dodge (use it on every CD), Wild Magic, then Coin Toss to fill. On Anubis used strategy above as close as possible. On Murkidan used Murkamorphisis, Fel Immolate, and Shadow Slash x 3. Fight was done.

This doesn't work for me at all - Greatest Foe isn't put into the mix until the end. Coach is brought in instead. Tried over a dozen times, before giving up and reworking the strategy to accomodate the changes they seem to have made since this guide was made.

That's just strange. I wonder if there's some RNG in the works and I'm just plum unlucky. With the different rotation I worked with this set-up worked but it was touch and go. Still extremely happy to have that notched off on the achievement :)

Yes, the Sir Galveston fight is very prone to RNG because different swaps will occur based on your pets opening HP.

Doesn't work for me either - after Greatest Foe is stunned, he brings Sir Murkston back in... Since this happend every time i braught Gregorious Grell (121) in and he finished the fight off pretty well :)

I used Grunty (I understand it's not an easily accessible pet) in lieu of Sister of Temptation. Used Shield Block turn 1, Gause Rifle turn 2, Launch turn 3 and then Gause Rifle until Grunty died (he kills the first enemy pet)

I also highly recommend the Wretched Servant for the third pet over the Harpy. (2/2/2). It's able to dispatch Coach rather easily.

I didnt have any of the mentioned 3rd humanoids so I used Moonkin Hatchling, Moonfire, roots, punch... dead Coach =D. My sister was also only lvl 23 and the strat worked fine.

I finished the fight with idol - main change was to use deflection after the liftoff by the third (flying) pet. Didn't even bring out my third pet.

Good point, I made a note pointing that out. However if you're lucky with Crush before, Deflection won't be off cooldown in time. Still a good thing to add, thanks!

Für Harpyie geht auf Winston. Wichtig ist eine "Flug Attacke" und eine die dmg erhöht, sonst stirbt man beim letzten PET!

Taktik fehlerhaft da Sir Murkeston als erstes "Rechtschaffene Inspiration" wirkt und dann Trenner in den Kampf kommt.
