The pets in slot 2 and 3 can be substituted for ANY pet with Explodieren, but they need to have at least 1645 Health to finish the battle in 4 rounds. If you use pets with less Health, Baa'l needs to come back for a second application of Mörder der Unschuldigen, which makes the battle last a few seconds longer. |

The Pearlhusk Crawler is a little too fast for a crab, so I slow him for a few rounds. Any Breed raptor will work, but P/P is the most efficient.

Pearlhusk Crawler uses an empowered Pinch X that starts with 378 aquatic damage (increasing by 126 per usage up to 1280 on 8th hit, classic Pinch is at max on the 3rd hit). a Shell Shield absorbing 126 damage and AoE damage with Shell Rush... that's a creepy little crawler (no idea why they didn't use or create another Aquatic AoE ability, Shell Rush's pet swap won't happen in a solo pet encounter :-) To make sure my Flying pet in Slot#3 will attack first, it needs more than 256 Speed (right now Flying pets with Quills only exist in 257+ Speed but I'll keep it there). |

I see this strat on Wowhead as well, and, as like I presume the 1-star rater, some people reported failures with it.
I think this strat will always fail using an S/S NFD and a P/P or P/S Starlette, barring a lucky crit.
It will also fail, I think regardless of breeds, if the crawler gets a lucky crit in on the NFD after Life Exchange, but that's probably an acceptable risk.
A "Level 1+" pet is also not the right designation for the carry. The carry will suffer 302 damage from the Crawler's Shell Rush, and I'm not sure any Level 1s are going to survive that.
The Explode from a H/H Starlette does 690 damage. The Explode from a P/P Starlette does 560.
Speed does not help the NFD any, since the Crawler at 384 is faster than any NFD.
My S/S NFD died leaving the opponent at 803 HP, not low enough to die from any Explode. H/P got him down to 656, and P/P down to 591, well in range of a H/H Starlette's Explode.
I only tried three times, but my preliminary guess is that this strat is quite good using a P/P or H/P Nether Faerie Dragon with a H/H Starlette, but dodgy at best using other breeds.
It also needs a lower HP limit of 303 on the level pet.
I think this strat is quite viable with those restrictions. (editiert)

Thanks for taking a look. There are many more pets with Explode and while Starlette is quite popular, I agree it's too ambiguous. A Darkmoon Zeppelin (618) would be good for P/P NFD, for example.
It's just a matter of setting some numbers. Sadly the finder is unable to contain separate settings for partial choices. Either P/P NFD only and all "bombs" with 1478+ HP or including the H/P one and augmenting the health requirement to 1640+ HP.
I think the OP should choose that. Will keep this fight in mind as an example of the engine limitations. :)
