{Gráinne tested in ptr: said I just tried this on the 9.0 PTR with the expected Shadowlands changes. I did not do numbers, not least because it's awkward without the addon.

However, the strat still worked fine. It did deviate in that, in Round 11, my first pet, the Snowfeather, did not die, so I got in an extra round of Falcosaur Swarm. After that, the battle finished as expected.}

Worked exactly as the strat outlined, and I even used the script. Beside the script being different from what I normally see, it worked just fine.

My best guess is that people are confusing the different Units: 6, 35, & 17

I also never needed my third pet.

I don't understand the two comments below that say the strat failed. I have adopted this as my default strat for thie battle, and it has never failed for me.

I just ran it three times, and logged all three. If anyone cares to substantiate their failures with a log, I'll be happy to compare.

Yes, crits can derail almost any strat, but in this case, Unit 17's only attack is a weak basic attack, which does < 300 damage, so the opportunity for crits to derail here is rather small.

FWIW, I chose a Blifgted Squirrel as my third, but have never had to use it. In fact, on the last two tests, I actually skipped the last Swarm, because it wasn't needed; Unit 17 was already almost dead, and Predatory Strike was enough by itself.

I am still confident that this is a good strat.

I did not, however, look at the script. I would not be found dead in a ditch with that addon, which I regard as botting even if it does not fall outside Blizzard's terms, on my PC. I suppose it is possible that the script does not correctly represent the strat; at least one of the two people who claimed it failed for them mentioned a script, so maybe.

sorry to hear you had problems with this strat. maybe your pets are not lvl 25? maybe you are using re-match? not sure what the problem was but i am confident the problem isn't with the strat. gl finding something that works for you.

Six attempts with five losses. There's definitely something wrong with this one. Probably a pet spec issue. SS Snowfeather + PS Bloodgazer and this script are sketchy. Have a P/P Axebeak hatchling as a third and it breaks the script eventually after Unit 17s first death. Can't manually complete afterwards either.

not sure why you have an issue with this one... i see you mention "script" i don't use re-match, (someone else would have written the script for this) i prefer to play it out. what fun is it to have a bot run your battles? (in my opinion) anyway, as far as pet spec, the Falcasaurs only come in one breed... and when i use this strat (i have only had it fail for me 1 time and that was in testing and i tested it a dozen times) when the battle comes up i continue to use this without fail. maybe try not using the Re-match but actually follow the script as written and i am 99.95% sure you will have better luck.
