Solo'd this with Sunborn Valkyr (H/B) (1-1-2), wasn't even close. O.O Used stun on cooldown and heal when needed.

Thanks for the tip, I was also able to solo with her! Didn't need to heal much against the first pet, afterwards I used it on cooldown along with the stun and then holy strike as filler. It got tight at points so some bad RNG or crits might take her out, but should be easily wiped up with a second and third pet if that happened.

QIRAJI GUARDLING rocks this fight if you don't have a Harpy Youngling! I used a P/S breed and a level 17 Rotten Helper. That was it; the Anubisath Idol was never needed. It's possible Qiraji Guardling could have solo'd the whole battle, but I really wanted that 4000+ XP for my leveling pet. The Qiraji Guardings move set is similar to Anubisath Idol, but instead of Deflection you have Reckless Strike, which is powerful vs. Aquatics (Itchy the Crab is Aquatic). Sandstorm shuts down both Salty Bird and Grommet's Stampede, so there's no chance you'll take double damage from Grommet's Punch. Sandstorm also minimizes the damage of Salty Bird's Cyclone, which enables you to take a lower level pet into this fight. I took a level 17 pet to be safe, but I suspect a level 7 pet could survive (risky?). A level 10 should have no problems.

One note: You need a breed with speeds higher than 276 to stay in front of Grommet and 289 to match Itchy. So PS, HS, SB, and SS are ideal. However, I don't think it's a deal breaker if you used another breed. Just get Sandstorm up by your second attack and keep it on cooldown. I haven't been able to test the theory because I only have one 25 Qiraji Guardling.

Dont even need the harpy. My Idol soloed the entire team and ended at 60% health. Just make sure to use deflect on the whirlpools on first pet and keep sand storm up

Harpy Youngling - 1/1/2, and Alliance Enthusiast/Horde Fanatic - 1/1/1, can easily 2-man this battle and carry a leveling pet through. It has to be a high level leveling pet, though (16+ because Cyclone will be cast twice).

Didn't have a harpy so used Bonkers instead. Used Dodge against Whirlpool and Stampede (Grommet's 3rd turn). He solo'd the whole fight.

I did not have a leveled up Flayer or Harpy, so I used the Kun-lai Runt. He was awesome killed the first two pets on his own. Then my Anub mopped up the last one.

Knight-Captain Murky (1,1,1) / Legionnaire Murky (1,1,2) Handle this team fine. For 3rd slot I had Murkalot as I was going for ach.

Start with Murkidan - All you do is Meta, Eye, Immolate. Repeat using which ever ability not on cd, do this until you die, or fight ends. With lucky crits you can make it to 3rd pet.

When Murkidan dies bring in level pet - switch to Captain Murky - Do Dodge, Charge, Leap, repeat. until fights over. If using Leg. You will do Overpower, blitz, repeat using OP into blitz when it off cd. Use leap to avoid the follow up punch after stamp is done. Debuff will fall off by the time she goes for punch again, as after stamp into punch he rebuff.

I used anub and rotten little helper. Half way in to the fight with the bird i swapped anub for the rotten one. Use booby trapped present and club till death. when the murloc comes in the trap explodes, greench's gift and a club and the fight is done.

Same here. I was sure which one to use. I used a PP but I doubt it would have mattered. It wasn't even close. I even messed up on Grommet and Crushed instead of Sandstormed so I took double damage from his stampede and it still wasn't close. I used Reckless Strike a couple of times but I probably could have just kept Sandstorm on cooldown and Crushed in between.

Flayer Youngling in place of a Harpy also works amazingly well. Use 2-2-1 setup. Kick when his whirlpool is coming, deflection when it's gonna land, otherwise just triple snap. Managed to kill Itchy with losing a total of 50hp.
