Sweep almost threw my attempt under the bus too. TL;DR: This strat (like others) assumes Sweep won't be cast... DETAILS: I was barely able to save my attempt both because I had happened to pick a very good third pet (Scalebrood Hydra) and because I got very lucky in the exact order my attacks fell as I tried to wing it... I managed to have Shattered Defenses on the Corrupted Slime when Geyser hit, which killed the Slime and immediately got another Shattered Defenses up on the Tentacle for Whirlpool to hit, getting incredible mileage out of a small number of attacks. (I wish I remembered the order of moves... I could never intentionally pull this off again. It was amazing to see once!)

so, I got sweep. and had the misfortune to have loaded a sea pony as my third random pet >.> which resulted in a loss. For safety's sake! make sure you load something that does decent damage vs magic (or a second strideresque guy....)

all the times i tried it geyser wouldnt hit any pet because the slime would die the same turn it was supposed to go off (due to weakness i think) it finally BARELY worked on my 4th try when i used an emerald turtle in the last slot who killed the last pet with like 200 HP left

I used Mojo as pet#1 with its critter abilities, worked fine for me. Soloed first two enemy pets.

benax 211 soloed first two pets and mud jumper 221 died with the third pet, so didn'n need my third pet.

Leonard just used Sweep and my 3rd pet came in. Swapped back to Skimmer and used Scratch to kill him and then went back to your strat. Stampede hit twice before the Skimmer died. The rest of the fight went as advertised with my 3rd pet having to hit the Tentacle once.

I didn't have any of the pets in these strategies. So used Emperor Crab who almost took out first 2,2,1. Then Golden Civet 1,1,2. I took Aqua Strider 1,2,2 but there may be better options.
