Tried this, didn't work. The red cricket always dies after Pounder comes in. Cocoon breaks and then it dies before it can get Nature's Touch off.

Definitely does not work at all with Marsh Fiddler. It takes 3 times cycling through Skitter and Cocoon Strike to finish the first pet...

This sounds very plausible. Perhaps there should be some kind of stats limit on the pet in that slot. I'll take a look when I get a chance.

Pounder kills my level 1 pet every time. If you want to put level a pet use one that has about 500 health.

My red cricket was level 1 so I tried with Marsh Fiddler as a substitute. It failed every time. I went and quickly leveled the cricket and won on the first try.

neither of these strats worked for me. That being said I ended up using Ikky 1,1,1 and mechanical dragon 1,1,2.
