My mud jumper 257 power (1627 health) killed the first 2. Emperor crab (almost any 2nd 3rd pet combo) cleaned up the rest.

That's an HB Breed- worked perfectly as my 2nd pet --finished off the fight, with same move set as Benex. Had a random Aquatic for backup, but didn't need it. Thanks for this Breed suggestion. =)

Due to some unfortunate crits, Benax did not survive to do any damage to Burly Jr. The 2nd and 3rd pets did fine to take him down though.

My B/B Mud Jumper (260 power) consistently (three tries) did not manage to bringTimbo to the undead round in round 4 leaving Timbo with 78 health, whereas H/P Benax (289 power) could do it. So: B/B Mud Jumper is a non-starter for this strategy, whereas Benax worked like a charm and only dying when Burly Jr. was on 645 health. Great strategy, but use Benax!

That's unfortunate. :( I was hoping at least one of the breeds of Mud Jumper would be an acceptable alternate but between your comment and Desrosier's it seems that neither of them work.

HB Mud Jumper wasn't able to handle it alone, but the Eternal Strider (1,1,2) and Golden Civet Kitten (1,2,2) I brought cleaned things up with some improv.

Great strategy. Here's a TD Script:

I elected not to pass in Round 10, since if you get lucky you can get off one more Pump combo and Benax will go all the way. If you want to do that anyway, just add standby [round=10] as the first line.

I used a gulp frog 1,1,1 and was almost able to kill 2 of them solo. Used Sea pony 1,2,2 and Mud Jumper 1,1,2 to finish the last one.
