As of 10/2/2023 This no longer works. The Eldritch Manafiend dies against the first pet, or the first attack of the second. Surge of Power never goes off. The second pet wipes out the Owl in a couple of rounds. Try a different strategy because this one appears to not work after miultiple tries.

Looks like the strategy has been changed since this comment. No longer using Eldrich manafiend, Working as at today and the turn number looks to be 12 exactly also :D (edited)

This is the best combination for me. but any owl wil to the trick with savage talon and call darkness.

This went just as the notes had it, felt very secure at each move. Definitely faster than an Anubisath Idol pounding away at Dor, too! It's good to have variety - I'll be trying this the next few pets I have to level.
