Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

Works great in 10.2, Teroclaw seems to always end at full health. Thanks!

Seems it works better for me if I Dodge, Stampede, Stampede, THEN flurry to finish off the Unfortunate Defias. I'm guessing this was written before the Shattered Defenses nerf. (edited)

Had an interesting bug today. Found myself in combat mode and unable to battle. Fix is to target the corpse and kill it again (don't forget to loot I got 63S and 17C). (edited)

Interestingly enough, I accidentally imported level 5 rabbit so I had to play without it and still barely won the fight with 36 hp left :) (edited)

An Emerald Turtle H/H can solo this fight with emerald bite/shell/power ball. Just use shell shield before it expires and power ball every other round, then use bite on the two extra pets.

Only was able to make it through first fight

I prefer to use Emerald Proto-Whelp in place of the Teroclaw Hatchling, and then a Jade Owl to handle aquatic backup pets. Otherwise, great strat!

mostly just fyi in scripts:

- if there is a pet with an undead round and you don't use it to buff up, just `standby [ enemy.aura(undead:forgot the id) ]`
- prefer semantics over rounds, in this case cast dodge if enemy can bite and cast stampede if enemy is not debuffed:

standby [ enemy.aura(Untot:no idea).exists ]
ability(Ausweichen:312) [ enemy.ability(Geisterhafter Biss:654).usable ]
ability(Stampede:163) [ !enemy.aura(Zerschmetterte Verteidigung:542).exists ]

- instead of hardcoding enemy types, just query td if the ability is strong:

ability(Verheeren:802) [ enemy.hp < 618 & self.ability(Verheeren:802).strong ]
ability(Verheeren:802) [ enemy.hp < 406 & !self.ability(Verheeren:802).strong ]

Instead of a Teroclaw Hatchling, I used a Lifelike Mechanical Frostboar. The Teroclaw Hatchling really doesn't seem necessary here. I'd recommend any Magical, Flying, or Mechanical pet that you know and trust in the 2nd slot. (Careful to not use a pet that you may need in future battles.)
