Substitutes:

1
Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Completely reworked.

Swarm, Flock or Stampede all work well in 3rd slot.

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Two things:
1. Using the script starts by changing to the Maggot, who then dies...this is due to the first line, which should be `use(Corpse Explosion:663)`...funnily enough it did kill Minixis in the end, using a manual attack 1 for the surviving Mawrat
2. Using a PS Mawrat, HB Maggot, and PP Gormling didn't work (tried twice)...it ended up a "draw" (edited)

You are correct. This script is garbage. Removed til I can log in and fix it from home.

Nice strat, had to run it twice as I don't have the HP breeds AND my Pulsating Maggot didn't have Plagued Blood selected, so Died round 6.
On my 2nd attempt I did finish in 7 rounds even with the extra Plagued Blood move sloted in.

Nice.
That move seems to give the Gormling some extra life. Originally, I had a Chirper open with Sunlight. That added another turn with less throughput without Corpse Explosion. It did give even more healing, and seemingly would be a 100% win rate, but it was ~10 turns.

Did you experiment with using Plagued Blood in slot 3 by default? The DOT part would stack with corrosion turn 4 and make you more survivable. This way you wouldn't have to note about the breeds in the info section.

Just a thought as I don't have the health breeds and I'm not sure if I had crits or anything but I finished Turn 7 doing it this way and you've listed as 7-8 rounds anyway (I used P/S, S/B then P/S - Probably all the worse breeds to use :p)

You definitely had what I considered 'weakest' breeds. There isn't a ton of opportunity for crits helping a great deal with a fixed percentage dot, drain blood and burst and small dots besides. Buuurp! might be huge if it crits.
As for Plagued Blood, I might have to play around with it more. Off to sleep for now.

It probably was a Buuuurp crit knowing my wonky luck :p have a good sleep mate!
