Using Quack-E in 3rd slot with Shriek and spamming that after the other 2 pets died I made this work even though I had bad RNG on that try.

Worked on my second try. Best chance if enemy is not critting your first pet and if your first pet can deal crit Tentacle Slap.

Not even close for me. The first pet does ok against the enemy's first pet but when the second enemy pet comes in, it destroys my first two pets. The last doesn't do well against the last enemy pet by itself. Terrible strategy.
