I didn't have a chicken or turkey with high hp but decided to try it with my S/S turkey. It still worked. When Bucky pulls in your axebeak, just swap to turkey and continue with the strat.

I didnt have the Mechanical Axebeak at lvl 25, so used my Stormwing for the 3'rd pet. Followed the guide on the first 2 pets and for my Stormwing I did Call Lightning -> Flock.

tranquilsea

wrote on 2020-06-07 15:27:06

Worked well even with a normal fast chicken in the second place

Qurow wrote on 2019-09-14 18:36:13

3 Teroclaw and well placed Dodge easy win.

Ikky x/1/1 + Ji-Kun Hatchling x/2/1

Ikky- Black Claw
Ji-Kun Hatchling- Acid Goo -> Flock

Dead!

The easiest and fastest kill for me so far!

Great strat, thanks.

Carolina wrote on 2018-05-24 23:02:46

I used the Teroclaw but subbed in Ikky for flock and the Skywisp Moth for my third, with 2, 1, 2. The Moth gets swapped in first. Just switch to Ikky and use flock. Once Ikky is dead, use Call Lightning and Reckless Strike. Both those should be buffed from flock and enough to kill him.

Falathiel wrote on 2018-07-23 13:25:52

Thanks, subbing a moth there worked well!

kalisynth

this worked for me as well.

Ravynsur

wrote on 2018-08-16 12:07:20

Only subbed Ikky and it worked the same way (Axbeak was swapped in due to health, just manually swapped in Ikky and flock, then Haywire to finish it off).

Paladinva

wrote on 2018-07-18 18:56:33

With the patch Teroclaw Hatchling no longer has dodge. I was able to use Shimmering Aquafly S/B which does have dodge + alpha strike, worked fine.

Remte

wrote on 2018-07-19 03:11:13

This strategy IS compatible, it just required a minor change in the tooltip :)

Kathleene

wrote on 2018-04-10 19:56:05

Strategy worked well on the first try. I had to use an H/P Mech Axebeak as that was all I had. It still worked correctly, but that might have been due to my using an H/S Highlands Turkey in place of Plump Turkey, since I don't have a plump turkey. Not sure, but everything worked fine. Thanks for the strategy!

Eekwibble

wrote on 2018-05-23 06:11:54

Yeah, it works fine with an H/P Mech Axe so long as the Flock bird you're using has the same hp (there are none with higher hp). That means any Health breed of crane chick, turkey or chicken (except Bush Chicken).
By far the best I've found to use with an H/P Mech Axe though is Direbeak Hatchling. Predatory Strike then Falcosaur Swarm leaves Bucky with so little hp that Haywire only needs to hit once.
And for those with a P/P or S/S Mech Axe (1400hp), you can do the same with a Sharptalon Hatchling.

Blisse wrote on 2018-07-09 21:01:06

this worked perfectly - thanks for that! I didn't have my Plump Turkey leveled up, and the Direbeak Hatchling was a flawless substitute.

Olania

wrote on 2018-07-09 19:39:04

Definitely worked with an HP Axebeak.

Lisma wrote on 2017-11-11 11:17:14

Flying Team:
Cerulean Moth (H/S) - 1, 1, 2
Zangar Spore (B/B) - x, x, 2
Mechanical Axebeak (H/P) - 1, 2, 1

Cerulean Moth:
1 - Cocoon Strike
2 - Call Lightning
3 - swap to Zangar Spore

Zangar Spore:
1- Explode

Mechanical Axebeak:
1 - Decoy
2-3 - Haywire
4 - Alpha Strike, Mechanical Axebeak dies

Cerulean Moth:
1 - Call Lightning

Bucky should die here.

Hyacai wrote on 2018-05-29 14:42:56

I didn't have my Teroclaw leveled. Fought with this combo and it worked wonders. Thanks!

Same strat as above but with Axebeak Hatchling instead. As he does not have Haywire I used Lift-Off and the fight was done!

Nalli wrote on 2017-12-12 14:41:11

Worked perfectly, even with a green P/P Hatchling...Thanks :)

Khes

wrote on 2018-04-07 05:14:58

took a couple tries to get the finicking with avoiding/abusing the swap properly but yeah, this worked like a charm.

PureArmour wrote on 2017-11-02 21:20:51

used Highlands Turkey HS breed ... worked perfect

Anonymous wrote on 2017-11-15 18:51:58

P/S Highlands Turkey also works as long as your Axebeak is P/P (S/S Axebeak may also work?)

Carrotboy

wrote on 2018-01-28 03:47:52

Had to swap my Highlands Turkey in manually but it still worked.

EyeSage wrote on 2017-09-10 21:04:27

I did it with 3 Falcazar pets.
Swarn predatory strike as long as there is a double damage used the predatory strike. If you have a chance to use another attack with the double damage up do it. I got it twice in a row using different order and even made a mistake on the first time. Don't use the protection on the direbeak just use attackes.

Claire wrote on 2017-09-14 16:04:51

Worked perfectly. I used the S/S snowfeather hatchling to start, just to get off the swarm, then just kept using strike/swarm as I could to keep up the debuff. Died easily.

Shunai wrote on 2017-09-15 15:04:21

3 Falcosaurs worked perfectly! This should be on the Alt 2 strategy. All pets only have one breed.

Snowfeather Hatchling (1-X-1)
Bloodgrazer Hatchling (X-1-1)
Sharptalon Hatchling (1-X-1)

1-Falcosaur Swarm!
Bloodgrazer Hatchling is swapped in
2-3 Falcosaur Swarm!
4-Predatory Strike
5-Pass. Bloodgrazer Hatchling dies. Sharptalon Hatchling swapped in
6-7 Falcosaur Swarm!
8-Pass. Sharptalon Hatchling dies, Snowfeather Hatchling brought in
9-Predatory Strike

Infin wrote on 2017-10-26 03:15:01

This needs to be the main strategy. Doesn't require specific breeds, and every pet trainer has these guys at level 25 for falcosaur questline to begin with

Anonymous wrote on 2017-10-28 00:32:12

Great strategy -- worked the first time. Would love to see this one as an alternate (or main) strategy above.

kess wrote on 2017-11-05 09:09:27

this was a much easier strat than trying to find a turkey/chicken with enough health for strat 1. Worked first time really easy. thanks

Novaz

wrote on 2017-12-08 14:41:50

Worked great, easy pets to have. My sharp wasn't fullly levelled so used Direbeak instead. Should definitely be up there and 1st choice

Cernunnas

wrote on 2017-11-07 04:45:45

I used Ikky instead of the turkey (also works with any of the Legion feathered raptors). I lost a round because I had to swap manually after the forced swap, but still won the fight effortlessly.
