This is weird, I've run this strat four times and it's failed twice -- whenever Crawdead gets a crit off on the lightless ambusher, and then it dies before it can land a pump on gnaw. The dragonling can't solo Gnaw, and so both times it fell to my level pets (which were fortunately lvl 17) to scrape out the last bit of damage on Gnaw. Maybe I just got spectacularly bad RNG?

For me exactly what BigRay wrote happened in the second fight. The fight could still be won within ~2:10.
So all in all a very reliable and fast strategy.

Without the opponent's crit luck, the fight is ~ 1:35. :)

I've ran this strategy about 15 times now and it's worked every time. However, I have noticed that a few lucky crits from enemy pets #1 and #2 can put the Lightless Ambusher into kill range while pet #2 is in its undead phase. The enemy pet never got a high enough damage roll to kill my Lightless Ambusher, but the risk is there, which means the final pet would be 100% hp and a single Thunderbolt wouldn't kill. I think the Dragonling could still easily solo the last pet, but it makes it more difficult to write a TD Script to handle the possibility that you don't get a Pump off on pet #3, and it would obviously slow down the kill, but this should rarely happen.

All around, though, this is a great strat!
