It is very similar to Cataerei's strat, and I would not have defeated this w/o having his/hers as a baseline. The original doesn't quite work post 9.0, however, so give this one a shot. It's been tested by several other people, as well, so I hope it's helpful. You can use any Zandalari Raptor with Black Claw and Hunting Party, but it MUST be a P/P breed. Your 3rd pet can be any pet with Decoy, but use the one with the most Health for best result. Tock#1121	I was having absolutely no luck with every other strategy available, so came up with this. *Be forewarned: this is extremely RNG based AND* extremely long.** Shimmerbough solos (or near solos) Comet, then the 2 EPWs are rotated by Cosmos, healing constantly and getting in an occasional hit, with Apocalypse doing all the work for Constallatius. Shimmer will rotate between keeping Comet stunned and blinded and dealing damage while he's blinded. Once we get into the EPW rotation, you need to be both patient and greedy: He heals with starfall which would normally be negligible, but we're attacking so infrequently that it is significant. I was having absolutely no luck with every other strategy available, so came up with this.

Be forewarned: this is extremely RNG based AND extremely long.

Shimmerbough solos (or near solos) Comet, then the 2 EPWs are rotated by Cosmos, healing constantly and getting in an occasional hit, with Apocalypse doing all the work for Constallatius.

Shimmer will rotate between keeping Comet stunned and blinded and dealing damage while he's blinded.

Once we get into the EPW rotation, you need to be both patient and greedy: He heals with starfall which would normally be negligible, but we're attacking so infrequently that it is significant.

Once Cosmos dies (FINALLY!), you're home free. Just stay healed and wait for Apocalypse to kill Constellatius.

The script starts on turn 5 for some reason. I guess an edit gone wrong?

I had tried countless other strats with no luck, this one worked on my second try. I only had PP and SS Anklerenders, after reading the notes I decided to give my SS a go. First time Ikky didn't kill Comet with Quills because my Anklerender hadn't done enough damage, but the second time the RNG Gods were on my side and from there it was smooth sailing. I failed this the first 3 times thinking to myself "how the hell do you kill Cosmos with only 3 Breath?" I managed to do it on the 4th attempt, I don't know what was different but I think the issue was I only have a S/S Zandalari Anklerender which, according to some comments, doesn't do enough damage unless it crits. You will need to improvise ALOT. If you use the Aniklerender Ikky Dragonling Combo

I just finished this after changing the last pet to Son of Sethe (1,1,1)
As far as strategy - use the above and when the first two pets die, use the Son and when Son of Sethe falls below about 40% Health use Drain Blood(3) to keep your health up. Otherwise Keep Hiss(2) on CD and spam Absorb(1).
Do NOT give up as unless you die before the Armageddon as YOU will revive and WIN. Cheeky? YES but a win is a WIN!

This comment is not good at all.

Ikky doesn't die outright against Cosmos, is swapped out. If you continue with SoS it will eventually get swapped too – wasting a round – and only then Ikky dies doing nothing.

And no matter the configuration, it should not be Hiss at all, period. It should be Touch of Animus instead. Sure it's a breeze against Constellatius, but as long as Cosmos lives, the max hits of Moonlight-buffed Arcane Blast strike for more than a half of SoS' health!

Looked into this one and made a few changes, some duly anticipated by you all.
It even helped me and Mutanis to find a glitch I haven't noticed before.* :P

Changelog:

• Added the Power requirement for Zandalari Anklerender
• Switched places of Primal Cry and Black Claw, and replaced Savage Talon with Quills**
• Against Constellatius, Bombing Run → Swap → Black Claw → Flock has been changed to: Bombing Run → Decoy → Swap → Black Claw → Flock***

**The original round order meant that Ikky could not benefit from Black Claw. A P/P Anklerender would also crit so hard it would survive Comet and disrupt the pattern. This should address both issues (a double crit will still be a problem though). Because (at least with a 305 Power dino) the high Savage Talon's variance would not warrant success either way (https://pastebin.com/mAzZXj6k), it was changed to Quills, which paired with BC provides reliable 484+ damage. (Unfortunately for S/S, it's 462+ damage against 478 HP, so it's still excluded.)

With Bombing Run involved as it was, the total damage Constellatius got while Ikky lived was 3 * 162 + 432 = 918 damage (BR cast healed out). The [A] suggestion of adding Decoy after that would mean that MPD would need to deal 1151 damage over the course of 4 rounds, only the first of them being debuffed. Keeping Ikky alive for longer [B] seems to be more important, though, as Ikky with the bomb deal 284 + 3(162 + 222) = 1436 damage while alive, and MPD will mop up the remaining 633 health in the following 2 rounds.

It works perfectly in 9.0.5 if you follow what the top comments suggest.

Swap places with turn 1 and 2.
Use Decoy immediately after Ikky dies.

This strat works perfectly fine in 9.0.5 with a P/S Zandalari Anklerender (it seems people have trouble with S/S breed not hitting hard enough). 2 TIPS: Use Primal Cry FIRST before Black Claw (Turns 1 and 2) and at Turn 15 just throw up a Decoy after your first Breath (Turn 14). Got it on my first attempt. (edited)

Honestly this didnt even get me to fight the third pet, 1st pet took two turns with ikky, both with savage claw and with quils, 2nd pet has magic damage so it nearly killed ikky before the swap without a crit, this just doesnt work

This worked for me the second try, however, when I was done Algalon despawned before my eyes and I couldn’t turn in the quest. I filed a ticket, but got a standard reply, remove add-ons, yadda yadda... but nothing helps. Put in a second ticket and hoping it will get soved so I can have my reward.

This is the one that actually got me to the kill. Had to try a couple times and pray for a good crit. Needed a crit from the first Savage Talon to actually secure the kill on the first pet. Walking on eggshells the rest of the fight but finished it with the dragonling at ~200 hp left. Thanks for the strat!

Unable to get this strat to work. Ikky dies after turn 12, so never does his last flock. I tried using decoy at various spots with MPD with no luck. Maybe this has some RNG where it will work if you get a bunch of crits, but don't receive any?

It is very similar to Cataerei's strat, and I would not have defeated this w/o having his/hers as a baseline. The original doesn't quite work post 9.0, however, so give this one a shot. It's been tested by several other people, as well, so I hope it's helpful. You can use any Zandalari Raptor with Black Claw and Hunting Party, but it MUST be a P/P breed. Tock#1121	I was having absolutely no luck with every other strategy available, so came up with this. *Be forewarned: this is extremely RNG based AND* extremely long.** Shimmerbough solos (or near solos) Comet, then the 2 EPWs are rotated by Cosmos, healing constantly and getting in an occasional hit, with Apocalypse doing all the work for Constallatius. Shimmer will rotate between keeping Comet stunned and blinded and dealing damage while he's blinded. Once we get into the EPW rotation, you need to be both patient and greedy: He heals with starfall which would normally be negligible, but we're attacking so infrequently that it is significant.
