Squirky dies before Feathers is at half health every time. I tried five times because it said RNG can be an issue but bubble eats lift off and then Squirky just falls over. I'm lucky if I get one punch out.

Same here. My Squiry died 2 turns before Feathers died. My Kun-Lai Runt before Splat died. But my Winter's Little Helper made it through with >75% health. I just followed the turns as written.
