Patch 9.1 TomTom coordinates for all six Draenor Master Tamers using Wowhead map pins and zone numbers (eliminates the need to differentiate between Outland and Draenor). Can use anywhere in the game. No need to be in the same zone or on the same continent.

This strat usually works just fine, as long as I remember to follow it properly and don't get distracted. If I forget to explode with bombling on first round of second pet, I've found I can still usually win just fine--once bombling dies, swap in tonk to finish off second pet, swap to level at opening round of third pet so it gets the howl, swap back tonk and number 2, number 3 (I always forget by the names whether shock & awe or ion cannon goes first, and which number is which). You can powerlevel 2 lvl +1 pets with the Son of Animus (1 1 1)

This is my opinion but I think that it's always best to level ONE pet. Otherwise the xp gets divided in two when one levels two pets - so it's really not worth it. Just move on to the next levelling pet master and get your full xp. My two cents...

Sometimes it's nice to get two pets out of the level 1 zone though--lots more strats can level a pet if it is 5+.

for me ... bombling didn't die when the script said, but i went ahead and swapped to my level pet and then passed. followed the script bringing in the darkmoon tonk with shock and awe and ion cannon filled in with charge and another shock and awe ... last enemy pet was still up when tonk died, i brought bombling back in and exploded and still won the fight Level pet was the only pet left alive (edited)

I'd been using the cogblade raptor strat, gave this one a try on a whim and man do I like it! Using the level pet to soak the howl is lovely -- even if it's not necessary, I always cringe when those big nukes are landing.

You don't need to pass when you bring in the leveling pet. Just switch immediately to the Tonk and you'll still get the XP.

I believe the 'Pass' is so your carry pet soaks the Howl. I haven't tried this strat, though, so I don't know how necessary it is.

Yes, I understand the strat but the extra turn is unnecessary because the Tonk will survive the extra 50% damage in any case. Just my two cents. The strat overall is excellent.

I had problems with this as well, but I made it work with few minor changes. Try this:

Thank you for this much better script. The original script above would never swap to the level pet so you had to do it manually. Your script fixes that making this fight much smoother.

The original poster (Prudentius) provided updated info on missing steps for using this strat to level pets over six months ago (on 6/19/18). Are you ever going to update the actual strategy listing for those who don't use TD scripts?

Been working perfectly for me every time I use this strat. On turn 2 I swap to Darkmoon Tonk to eat the empowered hit from Wolfus, or my carry pet if it's high level. Even if Tonk goes down to ~50% health it's still more than good enough to demolish the last pet. Awesome strat!

td script did not work for me as well. It worked up until the Pet Bombling exploded. The pet swab would not happen. Had to manual from Pet switch and on.

Something changed in how the addon handles that line. I noticed this today after trying to help someone with B'aal. Updated the script to fix this issue. I haven't been on Draenor much outside of holidays and the B'aal quest line.

I had trouble with this strat, mainly because Wolfus' opening move was to empower his attack. Fortunately, my level pet was of a high level, so I brought him in to eat the attack. Otherwise, my Bombling died before the minefield ever had a chance to go off. So, mine went more like this:

1. Minefield
2. Swap carry in
3. Swap Bombling in
4. Batter until Wolfus dies

If you don't have Pet Bombling, you can use Cogblade Raptor (2/1/1), Leveling Pet, Darkmoon Zeppelin (1/1/2). Here is the tdscript I wrote:

TD script updated. Your leveling pet will no longer use Pet Bombling abilities in the Howl soak round especially if you're leveling another Pet Bombling.

Script still doesn't work. It gets stuck when it's supposed to bring in the leveling pet and does nothing. If I manually bring in the pet, it continues as it should.

I would recommend a Mechanical Prairie Dog (1*1) over the Darkmoon Tonk.

Bring it in as soon as the Pet Bombling Dies and use 2x Metal Fist then Explode. It's not much of a difference, but it saves a turn.

There's some instructions missing for the strategy and script line 2 is currently split into 2 lines.

The strategy instructions should read as follows after the Pet Bombling Explodes
Turn 1 Swap in Leveling pet
Turn 2 Pass
Turn 3 Bring in your Darkmoon Tonk

Whoops. Sorry for any of you who didn't level a pet because of this.
You don't need to pass if your switchee comes in after your pet dies, in contrary to start of the fight.

Passing the round is intentional. That round your active pet is debuffed with Howl. Your leveling pet soaks the debuff. The second line of the script is also still split into another line.
