This strat is amazing. I never need to bring in the third pet and Spineleaf dies by the time Icky finishes Flock. If only they brought back the Higher EXP earnings. (edited)

Not sure where to put this, but I hope someone can explain this to me. I have rematch and the other pet battle addons that have been suggested. What are these strings I see? Does that get plugged into Rematch? And what does it do?

Hi Craizee. https://www.wow-petguide.com/index.php?m=UsingTDScripts is an excellent guide to help you understand what TD scripts are, what they do, and even how to create your own if you want. Basically, they allow you to simply press one button repeatedly (usually A unless you change it) to complete a pet battle. But, they can also go beyond what simple turn by turn instructions can do by allowing for certain conditions that may change during each battle and perform your appropriate response/counter maneuver that would be best in each situation. The downside is not all TD scripts are perfect and some have flaws. But the pros far outweigh the cons as you'll soon discover if you take a bit of time to use them.

As several others have commented, Ikky rarely needs more than the first black claw/flock combo. The Direbeak never sees action. So, with the single opponent fights giving more xp than the others, I switched out the Direbeak for a leveling pet. Put the leveler in the first slot, then follow the Unborn Valk/Ikky strat as listed. Even a lvl 1 earns xp, and with this being Pet Battling Week....well, good things happen.

Actually, you don't really need Curse of Doom. I've done it a lot with just Haunt, bring in Ikky, Black Claw, then flock. He always dies before Curse of Doom goes off.

Very good strat! I'm leveling Ikky (lv 21 - uncommon rarity). It survive and finish the fight. (297 xp with hat)

Used Zandalari Anklerender instead of Ikky. Battle finished by the end of Hunting Party.

Done the fight a couple times with this strategy without failing, Spineleaf never make it pass Ikky. FYI, this offer very little pet experience.

I used Ghastly Kid instead of Unborn. Used Hoof, Haunt and then Ikky for black Claw and Flock. Took 5 or 6 turns in total and he was down.

I completed this with the Unborn, Direbeak, but switched it up with a Zandalari Kneebiter since I didn't have a 25 Ikky, the Kneebiter worked a treat with 222

I did this today. I did curse of doom, haunt, brought in Ikky, did black claw and then flock. In exactly that order. That was all it took to win. Potentially an RNG right but it worked perfectly for me - more than perfectly.

Same thing. Spineleaf died on the second round of flock, before Curse of Doom had a chance to proc.
