EASY LEVELING PET TACTIC (100% FAST 1SHOT)
Nether Faerie Dragon
Moonfire, switch to leveling pet, switch back to Nether Faerie Dragon
Spam Arcane Blast (and Moonfire on CD) when 1st enemy passive triggers your Dragon should be very low on HP, so switch back to leveling pet to soak 1 hit --> 1st enemy dies
vs 2nd enemy- Nether Faerie Dragon -> Life Exchange -> Spam Arcane Blast untill your Dragon dies.
vs 3rd enemy Untamed Hatchling
Roar --> Instability --> Tail Sweep and 3rd enemy is dead.

I was able to level up a level 9 Dragonkin using your idea of having a level 25 do any ability on turn one and then instantly swapping over to my leveling pet and then back to your level 25 roster. Keep in mind that Crawdead does use Carpnado which will do a fair amount of damage to your backline pets so the 400+ HP is highly recommended.
I used Xu-Fu's Emerald Proto-Whelp/Chrominius strategy used above but I simply changed it by bringing out my Proto-Whelp first to do any attack and then instantly switching over to my Carry when Mist Wraith does his Dodge attack. After that I simply kept up Emerald Presence as I could and used Emerald Dream when I went below 50% life. Chrominius then cleaned up Gnaw with a Bite --> Howl --> Surge Bomb.

I have both P/P and P/S Nether Faerie Dragons same as Nexus Whelplings <3
Very usefull in many fights.
The reason i didnt use Emerald Proto is because i m always aiming for FAST (or fastest possible with my current knowledge) kills in pet battles :P and Nether Faerie Dragon P/P is great in this fight.
I might fail with Carpnado, maybe u need Lowbie pet with bit more than 400 HP, dont remember now, will check next time if i wont forget!

This "garbage strat" worked for me several times >.< i dont know why u failed, maybe u cant read or something.
Except that i failed on Instability in the tact, cause its 50% chance to hit, instead of it u should use Tail Sweeps

also as 2nd pet Chrominius works just fine, but with Nether Faerie Dragon fight is just faster than with Emerald Proto.
