A good farming spot for specific breeds is at 55:43 there are 3 pets with sub 5 minute spawns and fixed locations. This is just in front of the cave on the upper section. As of 11.0.5, this pet has become super rare is either extremely hard to find, or cannot be found. Several people on the Secrets and finding discord have tried several theories/myths regarding this pet and haven't been successful.

Spawned twice and I was throwing cages @ /way 59, 49 Died at a quarter health before I could trap it. Both times were frontline spawns. Never seen as Back Line yet.

Still not spawning as far as I can tell. It's also one of the quests for the trading post this month. 4 dark phases spamming pet battles was a total waste of time
