nexus whelping soloed this with plenty to spare

nexus whelpings are captured in Coldarra which is very close to warsong hold where the zepplin lands in northrend. i have 2 stormborn whelpling as well. they should be easy to get from legion drop now

Shadow (1, 2, 2) solos this fight. Even if the enemies still hit him while they are blinded he's always stayed alive to kill all three enemy pets for me. Very satisfying!

Nether Faerie Dragon can solo this. Just turn 1 moonfire and spam arcane blast, I used Evanescence too sometimes but it doesn't look like it's needed.

Something else to remember, a marsh fiddler with inspiring song can cast it to heal you're wounded pets then forfeit and repeat until they are at full health again. (same suggestion i was given way back when doing celestial fights)

For those without the Nexus Whelpling I was able to do the battle using the Eldritch Manafiend and Mini Mindslayer along with the Emerald Proto-Whelp. Arcane Blast, Amplify Magic, and Arcane Storm for the Manafiend and Mana Surge, Inner Vision, and Interrupting Gaze for the Mindslayer. When Arcane Storm is up the combo of Inner Vision and Mana Surge pretty much one shots a enemy pet and does more damage to the next pet that comes up.

Can level a pet that can take 242 dmg. Cyclone does 54 dmg each round randomly to a pet. Put in levelling pet when Nexus Whelpling only has Tail Sweep, then switch back.
